Tasty when they aren't covered in dead bug
I love these Almonds and used to buy them on a weekly basis until my local grocer stopped stocking them. So to Amazon I went, and ordered in bulk. While most of the packages have tasted as expected, some were stale (literally ordered this two weeks ago), and unfortunately the pack I opened this morning had not only Dry Roasted Almonds in it, but also accompanied by the web of a bug that died in the bag. The little critter is pictured in the bottom right of the attached photo. I wrote a letter to the company this morning informing them of my discovery.

stale
The almond and almond/walnut packets were so stale they bordered on rancid. I'm reluctant to try the almond/cashew packet because of this. I attempted to contact Emerald, however there was not a number on the box. I could go to facebook (am not a member). Went to their website to find a # to call. Was shuffled to another website and that one said the website was not available. Very frustrating. Will probably not buy these again.

False advertising
The box I received says it contains 18 bags (6 cashews, 6 almonds, and 6 walnut mix). The box actually only contained 12 (6 cashew & 6 almonds). Total scam.

Too Stale to Eat
All three kinds of nuts in this package were too stale to eat, much less to enjoy. I feel like I just dumped my money in the trash along with these nuts. I searched and searched for a Best By date, but could not find one on the box or the individual packets. From the taste, these nuts probably expired around 1994 or 1995.

Stale
Very unhappy with these nuts. The almonds tasted old and there were more packages of them than any of the others!

Missing packages and empty wrappers
This package of 18 was missing at 4 packages of almonds. In addition, one package was open and all the almonds were strewn throughout the bottom of the box. Very disappointed. My box of 18 was really only 13. If the product is old or stale...will be even more crabby.

Oh nuts!
Most of the reviews on here are accurate, tiny little pouches that are overpriced. But I have limited energy most days, and sometimes just gathering proper portions of nuts can be too much, and some jars aren’t user friendly for my bad wrists. So these are convenient, overpriced for what they are but it is a variety. Those roasted almonds are AMAZING and I want a big bag of them but cannot find them anywhere so I settled for blue diamonds roasted almonds in a big pack as a substitute. ( usually cheaper too). The cashews are also good, walnuts are well—- walnuts. A lot of the time broken into too tiny of pieces to pick up properly which is a huge problem considering all the reviews I’ve seen with gross things found in these packages. So I try to be cautious and inspect the inside before eating. But the unsalted almonds and walnuts together are such a hard combo to get through. I like them, but together they are like moisture zappers, and just don’t pair well.

Delicious Healthy Snack in Convenient Packs, Portion Controlled
I love that these nuts are in 100 calorie packs! They are delicious and are not all the same. Some are more flavored than others. There is a variety for everyone in the family and I like that. You know, many times you buy mixed nuts and someone is only eating the cashews, while someone else in the family is eating the almonds. When the can or jar is almost empty, all thats left is Brazil nuts! These are so easy to grab and take along. 100 calories of nuts is not a lot, believe me it's not even a handful. So this is a great way to control your portions without being a freak about it.
