I was looking for an inexpensive garden chair to sit in the sun, this is good enough that I bought two! It’s surprisingly comfortable for a non-padded chair. So far, far more robust than my previous one (which literally broke after a few uses and I fell through it!)I love that I can put this at different positions, so I can sit upright if I want to work outside, or lay pretty much right down when it’s really sunny.The only criticism I have, and it’s kind of important considering it’s purpose, is that with metal arms and sides… my goodness, they are hot to put your arms on when it’s a sunny day!! The seat itself gets pretty hot left in the sun so you need to brace for it when you sit down - I’d say this would not suit anyone more vulnerable for that reason.But for the price this is great and the only reason for 4* not 5

Bought to replace a similar chair stationed permanently outdoors, fits the bill perfectly. I find folding and unfolding fiddly, but I'm 76 and can find folding a handkerchief a challenge ;) I tip the chair upside down to fold & unfold, gravity seems to help everything fall into the right place.

The saying goes "buy cheap buy twice" so I was a bit nervous about these as they were half the price of some other choices and some of the reviews were a bit negative about the construction.They seem very similar to a previously purchased Amazon own brand (+50% cost) and are adjusted in a fairly similar manner. You lift up the arms of the hair and the is a seven-slotted piece of plastic into which the toggle shaped positioner slots.It's possibly a bit too easy to adjust position (dealing with one negative review), in that if you fidget with the arms of the chair you are in danger of flying back to the reclined position. On the the other hand, it's very easy to adjust without difficultyThe plastic in the arm of the chair is substantial, I cannot see it ever wearing away (dealing with another negative review) unless you do much fidgeting.They are very comfortable, nice high backs. Iin charcoal and black they look nicely understated. I'm buying two more.

I bought a pair of these whilst they were on offer for my elderly mother. They are neat and comfortable. They seem to be a decent quality. I think they were good value for money

I've got two recliners like these and these are just as good quality and about the cheapest I could find.
