Pajar Men's Tavin Boots

Absolutely love Pajar boots. My wife scored a pair of center zip combat-style looking boots and chanced it as her go-to boot for our recent trip to Germany. She was worried that they would be uncomfortable but came to absolutely love them. So comfortable, so much support. I came home and searched for a men’s version which I found, and also this Tavin boot—as a more casual knock-about boot. This winter it’s been my go-to boot for casual. So comfortable, supportive, great traction/grip on all surfaces, warm, but not overly so. For me the Pajar boot seems to run a little small, and where I’m normally a 9US (42), I found myself ordering a 43 (10-10.5) in this boot. Bonus: the toe box is wide in this boot, making it crazy comfortable for guys like me with a E width foot.

Love this boot. So easy to put on and take off. Warm and comfortable.......the only issue are the laces. They are flat and cotton and hard to deal with......not easy to tighten. I changed them to the round sturdy laces ($6) , cut them to length, knotted the ends, burned the ends so they won't unravel and they are now easy to lace tight and loosen at the. end of a walk. The zippers on the side make it even easier to put on and take off. Great quality ! I highly recommend but spend the $6 for decent laces.

I spent a long time searching for a winter boot that would strike a balance between my hightop leather Sperry's (pretty snazzy but terrible for any weather involving snow, water, or ice) and my Sorels (perfect for slushy, thick snow or slick ice but bulky as hell and even uglier than they are bulky). These are the perfect compromise between a good looking leather shoe and a fully-functional winter boot! Completely waterproof, easy to remove and put back on, super warm for how light they are, and they look great. Would certainly buy again.

Very comfy and warm. Only been in mid teens with light snow but kept my feet toasty. No winter socks required so far. They are not to heavy for winter boots and slip on the foot easy. They have decent traction I guess but haven’t walked on true ice yet.

So far the Pajar Tavin boots are comfortable. I've only worn them 3 times but winter in Indiana is coming. Yet to be seen how warm and how well they hold up but I'm optimistic.

Strongly recommend these boots - warm, lightweight and comfortable.

Fit and quality of boots are very good for the price ... no snow yet will update on warmth and waterproofing.
