We have a small tank in the house with some frogs. There was an algae bloom and when I asked how much they are trying to feed them, it was about 3x what it should be. This did help clear things up and the frogs weathered it ok. It also took a couple 50% water changes. I tried telling them that they really don't need much food, but where in the fun in that I guess?

After many different water changes and other products that didn’t affect the cloudiness and high nitrates and nitrites in our aquarium, we came across this product. It took two packets to completely clear and balance the tank. Awesome product!

I’ve been using this product for years. It keeps my tropical aquarium crystal clear. I just put it in the back of my filter canister. Behind the charcoal filter and leave it in there for couple of weeks. Lot less maintenance since starting algone. Love those little pouches. Thank you for a great product. K

I bought this product to help balance the nitrate and pH level in my tank. When I added it to my filter it turned the water a brownish color which sounds like normal for this product. It killed my pleco within hours. For several weeks after, my tank still had a brownish cast and I developed tiny fruit flies coming out of the filter. I ended up getting a different product to resolve the water quality and had to take my filter apart and completely clean it to get rid of the brown residue from this product. It just did not work for my situation, I have a 20 gallon tank.
