Excellent clippers for unusual times!
I think this is my first Amazon review, but thought it was worth it to help others at the moment.I bought these thanks to the current lock down... I've not done my own hair for over 20 years, but needs must! Although these had no reviews yet, and I've never heard of the make, I bought them on the strength of positive reviews for a similar model from the same makers on the US Amazon site. I thought it was worth a gamble as I'd have been waiting over a month to get well known brands.Firstly, delivery... I bought these when in stock, and received them (delivered by Amazon) 2 days later - perfect. They came mostly charged, so could have been used instantly, but as I had no idea how long it would take me I thought it best to wait... No more than half an hour.Putting the guide comb on was simple, and there were measurements on all of them. There is also a slider on the clippers themselves to give more variation in lengths when used with different combs.Once I started using them, they were light and easy to use.Unlike others I've read reviews for, there were no variations in power, no pulling, no overheating, and the cut was as even as I've ever had at a barber's.Very happy with the results - especially as I didn't find the instructions until tidying the box away afterwards!Overall, excellent from delivery time to quality.

Perfect for lockdown DIY
It looks lovely and well made. Similar to Leslie's experience, but unlike some reviews I read, there was no power problem, no pulling, no overheating, and the cut was simple good. Anyway, I'm not saying that my cut was as good as a Barber's - you know why. :)It's perfectly sized and weighted hence feels very comfortable in my hand. The ergonomic design and curved shape ensures the clipper is comfortable to hold and easy to control. In brief, the hair cut seems effortless, anyway, it took me some time since it's my first time DIY on my head.I love the ceramic-titanium blade with a self-sharpening nature. However, I'm not sure how to test it - time will tell. The push-up button can adjust cutting length from 1.2 to 2.0mm - I don't find the 0.8mm option anyway. In combination with guide combs (3mm/6mm/9mm/12mm) , I would say it could meet everybody's cutting needs except for some fancy ideas.I love it's USB charged - very useful and save me a bulky wall adaptor. Anything negative? It would be great to come with a storage bag. Many thanks for your reading and hope it helps.

Absolutely delighted
I bought this because it has been a long time since lockdown started for this pandemic, and I was beginning to resemble a one-man 1980s hair-metal band. And not a good one, either.I’d given up on waiting for Amazon to finally despatch the big name one I ordered and chose this one due to the reviews and the promised fast delivery time. Also I was nearly tripping over my hair, so it was getting a bit ridiculous. Something had to be done and fast. The package duly arrived quickly. It took about one and a half days from ordering to the Amazon delivery person placing it on the ground outside my front door and running away to a safe distance as if we were exchanging hostages in some bad movie. That’s social distancing for you, I suppose.First impressions were good. I like the four guide combs that come with the trimmer and the fact that they include an actual hair comb. I’ve not had one of those for years now since I usually keep my hair so short that I don’t need one.The trimmer itself looks smart and well-made. It’s lightweight but not flimsy in the hand. The guide combs clip on and off easily enough and the razor pops off for cleaning nicely. It has a little window with four LEDs behind it. Three green ones for battery status (low, medium, high) and one red one for charging.Speaking of charging, it has a normal charging port on the body of the charger. Similar to the one you’ll find on almost every other razor and shaver on the planet. However the cable has USB at one end so if you’re feeling fruity, you could charge it from your computer. There’s a 3-pin UK plug included too, along with a little cleaning brush.Down to the important stuff. I’m a single guy living alone so I had nobody to help with the haircut, so you can imagine the trepidation as I trotted off the bathroom, certain that I was about to make myself look even more ridiculous than I already do.I bated my breath and set to it. The trimmer is nice and quiet. Even quieter than the one my barber uses (oh I miss him so much). It didn’t pull or tug my hair and I didn’t accidentally cut my own head off. It didn’t cut massive clumps out of my hair. In fact, it actually did a really good job! I’ve had worse professional cuts. Granted I didn’t return to those places, but I have definitely had worse. And this was with doing it myself. I’m still in possession of both ears too.I’m not saying this thing is a miracle-worker because it isn’t. My regular Turkish barber gets nice straight edges with his proper cut-throat razor and I just can’t reach properly to do that, but it’s a very capable hair trimmer at a really good value price. The fact that I can’t reach is down to the design of the human body, not the trimmer’s.I simply can’t fault it. I was expecting to make an absolute mess of it and have people telling me that it looked ridiculous but they understood under the circumstances, however it did a genuinely good job! I’m amazed! If you’re looking for a quality trimmer at a good price, especially as I did as a lockdown emergency thing, you just can’t go wrong here. I might even use it sometimes when the lockdown is over and I need a tidy between my monthly barber visit.

A brilliant cordless hair clipper
This Paubea cordless Hair clipper gives a lovely smooth cut from the ceramic cutting blade, its an absolute dream to use, and the ajustable cutting head is ideal for finishing off the hair cut, and it is slim in the hand and light to hold, and it's cordless, so is very manoeuvrable. I would highly recommend this hair clipper, i use to have a well known brand before and it turned out to be useless after about a year, this Paubea is very quiet compared my other one i had which was really noisy. If you are looking for a good set of hair clippers, you won't be disappointed with these. Highly recommended.

Easy to use and did a great cut
Bought these to cut my husbands hair during lockdown. Never used trimmers before but these literally came straight out of the box and did a great job of trimming his long, thick hair. They moved easily and did not snag. We started with a longer length blade and then got shorter. His hair looked great and they were easy to clean and store. Since then we have used them on son's and grandson's hair, and again a really clean cut, no snagging and held their charge. Previously I had no experience of using clippers, but I have found these easy and comfortable to use plus they gave a professional looking finish. Husband wont need to go to the barbers again!
