This hat is AWESOME! I got the natural tan and it matches every outfit! I have a smaller sized head, but this has adjustable strings inside the brim that STAYS in place all day! I have worn it most days while riding on a powerboat and it doesn’t budge. As a dermatology nurse, I am very pleased with the sun protection this Fedora-style hat provides as well as a great brim. Also, extremely light weight, which is important in the hot summer months.I will say that this is the second time I have purchased a Wallaroo hat. The first time, I purchased one through a third-party seller and it arrived flat as a pancake. I got this particular hat directly from the Wallaroo Hat Company store on Amazon. It arrived nicely packaged surrounded by bubble wrap to ensure correct hat shape. Will definitely buy directly from the store again!

The crown of the hat is lined, which is probably how it achieves a 50 SPF rating, making it a bit warmer than a typical beach hat. I purchased it precisely because it doesn't look like a beach hat so I can wear it for any outdoor event or activity. Because of my obnoxiously sensitive eyes, I can't wear sunglasses without a hat due to glare. The fit is adjustable and the look is fun. I may end up cutting out the lining if I find it too warm. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Was planning a trip to Egypt, this hat was perfect! Lightweight, packable, love the fabric, and of course stylish and cute !

Bought this hat for a trip to San Francisco and Sonoma/Napa. The color was good and worked with my capsule wardrobe for the trip. Happy that it won’t show dirt and the heather neutral works with lots of other colors. The shape and brim are flattering. I definitely don’t think it’s super packable so I wore it on the plane instead of packing in my carry on. The hat was good for blocking sun and not too warm. I’m on the fence about the material and how long it will last. There are some places where the hat is fuzzing some and the loops are coming loose.

Fits great on my small head! Love the color it's perfect and is a perfect shape! The brim is just the right size for inside and outside wear!

It’s a well made hat. The inside lining made it trap heat, making it hard to wear in warm weather. I removed the lining. The band around the outside is firm enough to keep the shape. It will become my everyday hat.

I have had this hat for almost 2 years now and it's still as awesome as the first day I wore it. It is more expensive but the price is worth it for the quality. I'm in Texas and wear this almost every time I go outside for sun protection. I love it, it's adorable, goes with everything, protects your skin and eyes, and really brings an outfit together. I don't wear this in the pool because I don't want to get it wet, so I'm looking to buy a cotton hat from the same company. I have a small head and the adjustable string makes it fit perfectly and stay on in high wind.

The hat is fine. I have several of them. But the packaging on this one was terrible. The box was too small and the hat arrived wrinkled. I am now trying to resize it by washing and shaping it. Not good!
