AquascapeTsurumi 12PN 1hp, 115V, Submersible Pond & Waterfall Pump, high Flow, 11,500 GPH, 3" Discharge

It's a workhorse. The last two I ran 24/7 and they lasted eight years. Now I have a reverse auto light sensor to turn on once daylight. I told the pond builder I want flow! I didn't want it to look like a statue peeing. Reminder: the further the view away from the waterfall you get you need to compensate. We see our waterfall from main kitchen sink so view is important. But it's 100' away (30 meters).And we have two falls as we split the flow ~70/30.I estimate total rise is 6' and run is 20'. 36" and 20" wide waterfalls with maybe 1/2" coming over each fall. For you spec geeks, does that sound legit? See pics.

The pump itself is not that horrible out of the 2 I bought one is still going strong. Unfortunately for the other one I can’t say the same after about a month or so of being installed. It stopped working. Filed a claim with warranty I also bought the extended warranty for $100. This has been and still is an absolute nightmare. Pump went out in late November here it is 2 days until February and they have still not replaced it. Not only have they not replaced it. After calling 20+ times to check on the status they tell me it hasn’t been checked in yet. And since I don’t have to the tracking info I can’t look up when it got there. I sent it in. December 10th and every person on the phone just has a horrible attitude and is blaming me the customer for everything that has been an issue. They are saying it’s too much work to go find the box that I wrote the RMA all over the outside of in sharpie. I have such a low hope of them doing anything to make this better. Don’t waste your time with this company. They will do anything and everything to avoid the warranty process. I’m not going to stop calling until they make this right. I gave them almost 3 months before taking to a review. Pathetic. I wish I had the phone calls recorded with the reps.

I installed this pump during the spring of 2019 to recirculate lake water that has a good bit of suspended solids (sand and organic debris from a storm water stream). So far, it has worked well, but the inlet to the impeller became clogged when it sucked in a pine cone, which then caught pine straw and other organics. Fortunately, it was easy to clean and is working well.

I would not recommend this pump. I did not even get a year out of it. Lots of money down the drain. The bolt that holds the impeller came loose and stripped the impeller out. I called manufacturer to get help with warranty over and over. I sent pictures after pictures. It needs a new impeller with washer and bolt and then I would lock tight the bolt in but nobody will help me because they say it has to be in a skimmer. If you don't read all of there fine print you will not be covered even tho it says 2 year warranty. Buyer be ware!! I wanted to let everyone know that the first person would not help and her name was Elyse Murphy Customer Service Rep but I dug deeper and talked with a person named Anik Patel and they took great care of me and got me the parts I needed next day and pump was up and running again. For whatever reason this product does not last this one didn't even last 30 days it's supposed to be a continuous run pump with a macerator and it does not do that burned out after 12 days not exactly sure because I wasn't checking it but it's fried
