Love these bulbs
Love these bulbs. Crisp, clean, almost sparkling white that is ever so slightly cooler white than regular tungsten incandescent. It's similar to halogen in color temperature. I'm extremely picky about color temp and color rendering, and these bulbs don't disappoint. It really looks like halogen display lighting in a nice store. Bulbs are well-packed and very substantial-feeling. I have had a 4,300 SF house full of them (I use these in my recessed cans) for 8 months and not one has malfunctioned. Great purchase.

My first two bulbs gave out within a couple weeks ...
My first two bulbs gave out within a couple weeks. Tonight, my third of four bulbs went out. Unbelievably. These "LED" bulbs don't even last as long as my old halogen bulbs.Updated. This company sent me replacement bulbs, and they work perfectly. The bulbs are a little longer than I wanted, but the specs are accurate. Very pleased with first-class customer service.

A good choice for reading
Provides spot illumination for reading from an over the bed fixture. Beam is tight enough that it doesn't wake up my wife.
