Fried them in a pan w some oil and tasted great

maybe my fault for not thinking about it, although the product page is devoid of information other than "this is 7oz of dried squid."I bought this thinking it was a snack like the kind of dried or roasted squid you eat at the movies in Korea.this stuff is for cooking, it is super tough and hard, beyond super salty, slightly bitter.I'm sure it will do fine if tossed in with rice in the rice cooker (and maybe soaked first to get out some of the salt and also to soften it for cutting up)or in soups etc.but it is most definitely not a snack food!
