really nice net and the materials are superior to other nets ...
really nice net and the materials are superior to other nets ive owned, fold and fits perfect in several places on my boat. hooks dont get hung up and ive already caught several fish i probably would have lost without it.

This is one awesome net. Could not be more happy. Its heavy duty , rigid and folds up nice for the back of the boat or console. Deploys quickly. I do a lot of fishing inshore saltwater in south Louisiana. Its perfect for big specs up to big bull reds. Swallows up slot reds, so there is no chance of them getting off. The net is deeper and more robust than the competition. The coating is nicer so hooks don't get hung up. Get it!

A folding landing net that works
This is just what I had been looking for -- a well made, sturdy, net that folds into a size that fits the storage areas on my bay boat. It feels very solid when it's open and extended, and it's quite easy to fold and put away. I'm very pleased with it.

net is not very strong
I purchased this net because it said it was for salt water and that the net was strong. But one of the first fish we netted cut the net. It was spanish makerel about 25' long. Looking at the net it will not be easy to replace the net. I like the way it folds up small that works great also the ring in the center of the net is already rusting and I wash it with fresh water after each day.

The handle isn't 84 inches long.
Was disappointed about the size of the handle. Amazon's states that the handle is 84-inches long. The truth is the entire net is 84" long, from top of net to bottom of handle. For most applications this would be long enough but when you are using a 9 1/2 foot rod trying to net a 15 pound coho salmon from the bank by your self, you need that extra length to reach the fish.

Badass net...Period...
The 'Stowmaster' net is badass....Period....and made in the U.S.....I'm a Offshore charter guide and have wasted a lot of money on landing nets....This is the best net!
