Perfect for Star Wars Loving Preschooler
We collect Little Golden Books and have probably 200 that range in publication date from the 1950s to the present. My 4.5 and 2.5 year olds love all things Stat Wars and we got them this set as an incentive for keeping their playroom clean. The books themselves are great. The illustrations are beautiful. The violence that is necessary for plot advancement is not gratuitous and doesn't ever use the words kill or dead or death. (If I recall correctly, a lot of people expire.)Length is perfect for bedtime reading. Some good stuff for vocabulary building. The two and a half year old asked to wear his crimson shorts the other day.In short: great for Star Wars lovers of all ages!

Little Golden Books and Star Wars! It's a win win combo!!
Little Golden Books and Star Wars! It's a win win combo!! My grandson loved it, he is a bit fan of books and Star Wars! The only problem is that his dad is trying to raise him as a Jedi, but my 4 year old grandson (who was born on May the 4th) is totally in love with Darth Vader and the Dark Side! So I had hoped he wouldn't be offended by the title of the book! My son in law has hope, his daugher loves being Rey! This results in some epic birthday parties with some pretty awesom light saber battles!! My 17 year old son is happy to join his nephew on the Dark Side! Lol!

Two tiny thumbs up!!
My sweet little nephew (nearly 3) loves all of these books. He lives with my Mom and Dad and Dad reads them to him at bedtime and honestly, they BOTH really enjoy these. My nephew just recently started getting into Star Wars...he says he's a Jedi and loves to play by himself while pretend discussing the movies with his gigantic teddy bear... just as cute as it sounds. However, I mainly think he just thinks Star Wars something my Dad and I like "from the pretend" ;) and simply reacts to OUR excitement over reading these... nevertheless, he constantly asks to be read to (so wonderful for them at that age) and these are the new favorite.

Golden Books never disappoint
Bought to use as a card for a birthday gift instead of spending $8 on a card they throw away. It was loved!! The one "card" they didn't have to awkwardly put to the side and pretend they were going to keep... the birthday boy is a huge Star Wars fan, so the book went over well and it's a Golden Book, so it was exactly what we expected product wise. The story is cute and holds the kids attention to the end.

Quick read for active toddler
My 3 year old son is obsessed with Star Wars books. We had the Little Golden book set of books based on the movies. We recently bought the rest. This book has less words than books based on the movies. It is much easier to read at bedtime or as a quick read. Both of my boys enjoy this book. It uses simple enough words that I think my son will be able to memorize it before he ever learns to read.

Great Book for Little Ones!
My kid loves these books! She's super into Star Wars and these do not have a lot of complicated paragraphs so she can attempt to read them herself. Plus, they only take 2 minutes to read so they are perfect for those nights where you're running behind on bedtime and want a quick story.

as well as a short story to that we can finish before she gets bored. As a non-fan
I bought this for my daughter, she has the whole collection. She loves to look at the pictures, lots of colors to keep her attention, as well as a short story to that we can finish before she gets bored. As a non-fan, I actually learned something new about the Star Wars Universe when reading this book.

Unfinished book
The ends of the cover are completely uncovered card and corners are somewhat rough/sharp. It’s still readable but going to have to figure something out for the edges

lovely children book.
I love these! I bought them for my one year old as me and his father are star wars obsessed! The artwork is amazing for a children's book and it's a great way to teach young padawans the way of the force!

Short and Sweet
Much shorter than the Star Wars episode golden books, but thats not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to reading the kids books at bedtime.

My 5yr old likes this book. I think there's ...
My 5yr old likes this book. I think there's too little info and text for him, he doesn't reach for it as often as other books, but he likes it well enough.

Enroll your children in the Jedi Academy today!
A good glossy collection of hardcover books for young star wars fans and they also hype your youngsters up for the new star wars, which is coming soon to a theater near you. These are the type of books that have big bright images for kids to point at and a paragraph to read each page. The images alone will make your children want to read these books or for you to read to them. The stories are very good for star wars role play and for opening up kids imagination.
