Riess, an Austrian family-owned company, bonds glass to metal. Nothing sticks to the glass surface. I don't use diamond-embedded spatulas, so there is no way to scratch the surface. You've never made an omelette if you've never used a Riess frying pan.

I’ve always wanted some Riess cookware since I saw it in the shops in Austria and Germany.Apart from the fact that it’s pretty and looks vintage it’s actually really good kit that is very difficult to find for sale in the UK, especially at a decent price.It’s sturdy and works a treat on all hobs, including induction, it can also be put under the grill and straight into the oven. You can use any utensils in it, wooden, silicone AND metal, it doesn’t scratch or chip under normal use.It isn’t nonstick, so when making eggs, for example, you’ll have to brush the base with a little oil. It washes up really well, all stains and smells removed.Through Amazon I paid under £21 for the 20cm omelette pan, which I can assure you is a great buy! And it’s far to pretty to sit in the cupboard, so I leave it on the hob :o)

I’m buying Riess products since 2012 and I’m still using them. In 2018 I had to renew the pan. Great value for money. I travelled to Austria to get some special design, please keep selling on Amazon! We need more valuable Brands.

Die Pfanne ist tatsächlich hellblau, nicht mit Tendenz zum Lila, wie es auf dem Bild der Herstellers wirkt - auf meinem Photo ist das Blau recht gut getroffen.Man muss genügend Flüssigkeit oder recht viel Fett verwenden, dann lässt sie sich leicht reinigen... sonst nicht.Ich dünste sowieso zumeist mit Wasser, um ungesunde Transfette zu vermeiden.Ich habe auch die kleinen Töpfe mit Schnabelausguß gekauft. Zusammen machen die drei eine schöne Atmosphäre, ich koche sehr gerne damit. :-)
