Great read, great illustrations, must-have for lore nerds
I'm happy I grabbed this instead of the Dragonflight Codex, honestly. This was more interesting to read and answered some things that Shadowlands--the expansion--didn't. It's one thing for Blizzard to say in-game that there are infinite afterlives, but this book gives a bit of a demonstration of that. It also settles things that I've seen RPers mad about.Something I've seen a lot of anger about is that supposedly Shadowlands takes existing lore about the afterlife for WoW's races and throws it out the window. Not exactly. Virtually all of it still works. Within the framework of the Shadowlands, sure. Add in a trip to the Arbiter to see if you need a vacation in Revendreth first, maybe. But after that, you're going to the afterlife your culture expects, more or less. The narrator of this book visits a Tauren afterlife, for instance, and becomes confused by how she was able to watch over her descendants after her death, avoiding the Kyrian who the narrator assumes would be trying to take her to the Shadowlands. (She doesn't answer this, of course)You won't find some magical reason to suddenly like Shadowlands in this book. If you're hard-set on hating the expansion and everything about it, you'll keep doing that. But if you're willing to have an interest in lore and new ideas about it, you'll enjoy it like I did. Could always use some more fun lore nerds to talk to who aren't so negative all the time!

NO Kindle Version?
The artwork is great so I'd like a Kindle Version of this book to really appreciate it.

Tiny
Sure it may be in the description - but, kinda got used to the larger formats used for Exploring Azeroth, and other series. :) This is suprisingly a tiny book. (Not thin, just literally - tiny)

I hope they fix the spelling error on the cover.
I mean, it's right on the cover.
