OXO Good Grips Lettuce Knife with Kale Stripper

I have no idea why I bought this. A random purchase whilst buying their salad spinner(which is very good by the way)The knife, the term knife used very loosely, is good quality but just doesn't cut cleanly. It'll only do a firm crisp lettuce too by the way, but that's what I already thought before I clicked 'buy' anyway.Using the knife made a mess as it doesn't cut 'cleanly'. I'll go back to my metal knife as this one just doesn't do the job

This is a good looking knife. It does stop the blacking of vegetables. Okay for kale but salads not so good, as this is what i bought it for. The edge is not flat and sharp enough to cut lettuce cleanly and can cut carrots and cucumber etc but in thick chunks which is not what I wanted . Not overly impressed.

OXO Good Grips have done it again with another brilliant product that makes life easier. Let's be honest, if you're buying this you probably have enough knives to cut lettuce with but you just know that this knife will make you happier every time you make a salad.

Seems to be a sturdy knife and I'm looking forward to having no oxidisation on my lettuce! Bonus that it can be used to strip kale or cabbage as I spend forever cutting stalks out.

Little more effort required to cut through lettuce but it does not go brown as with an ordinary knife.
