My young dog has had multiple emergency surgeries for bladder health issues and was put on a crappy prescription food because of it. His energy levels, skin and coat immediately began to suffer. He went from a playful young pup to sleepy all day and his velvety soft coat felt like a Brillo pad. I took him off the food and began giving him these probiotics to boost him back to better health after stumbling upon Dr. Dobias’ website/ blog. Immediately his coat improved, no more flakey skin and amazing energy levels. I doubled his dose (2 pills per day) while he was on a long course of antibiotics (which I highly recommend to replenish good bacteria in your dogs body) and it helped him fight off an infection we had been battling for over a year. As far as I can tell this is an outstanding product. Started giving it to my senior pup as well who struggles with skin allergies and she’s also made great improvement

This product has been a life saver for us and our dog! Before using it, our dog was suffering from mushy stool and we kept having to trim her fur so that we didn't have to wash her every time she went to the bathroom. We started using it about a month or so ago (just opening the capsule and sprinkling it on her food) and now her stool is a normal amount and very solid. We also love that this product is organic and formulated especially for dogs. No more trimming and washing here! We're all happier now that she is on this product.

Since my dog is eating kibble, I'm die hard about nutrition, and I'm not ready to switch to raw feeding, I added this probiotic and saw a change in my dog's bowel movements within a couple days. He's pooping less and they're better formed. After two weeks, I also added digestive enzymes, and he's doing even better. I wish this weren't so expensive, but until I can raw feed, I'll make the sacrifice. Of note, based on other reviews, I open the capsules and poor the powder over his kibble, and he has no problem eating it.Edit 6/02/17: I've been feeding my dog raw full-time for three weeks now. As expected, his bowel movements changed with the transition, with some really runny BMs for a week or so. I decided to try this probiotic along with his raw food, again just opening the capsule and sprinkling the powder on the hunk of meat. AMAZING! Fixed his potty issues within a day. I'm going to keep using this until he's fully transitioned and eating green tripe regularly, which naturally contains probiotics and enzymes. Of note, since this worked so well, I tried giving him the digestive enzymes I'd been feeding with his kibble, and that didn't go over so well. He does best right now with just his raw food and this probiotic. Of note, my dog is medium sized, and I give him just one capsule per day, with good effects. So, this bottle lasts two months for us.

Absolutely love this product. Feed it once a day right after my little Pomchi's meal (she's about 9lbs.). She has had chronic anal gland issues and an acidity problem. I have had her for about 5 years and both have been a constant issue. This product has been a life saver. Anal gland soreness is finally gone and no more acidity problems. I have tried this and the Skin Spray. Both are wonderful products and I highly recommend - Dr. Dobias products are excellent!

My 1 year old Great Dane has soft/runny stools. Nothing found at vet exam. Vet recommended trying probiotics. Used as recommended. No changes at all. Still runny as ever. Quite expensive for no results. Would not buy again or recommend.

This is an amazing probiotic for my dog. Whenever she has an upset stomach, I resort to this and she is normal within a day. This is also great to provide to your dog if you are giving NSAID meds or anything harsher for the dog. It helps to rid the body quicker of any unnecessary toxins, etc. All of Dr. Dobias products are great!

One of my dogs has had issues with digestion (projectile vomiting after every meal) since I adopted him over a year ago. I've tried everything that my vet suggested (including a famotidine daily) and other meds from the vet, changing foods, supplements, etc. and NOTHING worked. I could count on him vomiting after every meal and was at my wit's end! Some dog lovers in a Facebook group I belong to told me to try GutSense by Dr. Dobias and being desperate, I ordered it. I give him one capsule a day in his food and after 5 days of giving it to him, he is no longer throwing up!!!!, This is one item that I will be 'automatically' ordering from this day forward! It has taken so much stress of of me and I'm sure off of him!

I like the ingredients and it has a higher amount of CFU than most pet probiotics - my only complaint is the price. I know it's organic but it's hard to really tell how this compares to some other similarly high quality probiotics for dogs and because of the price point this only lasts me for 30 days with my dog. I can't afford to maintain him on GutSense but will keep in within rotation of other brands.
