Globby and Time-Consuming for What You Get
My 11-year-old daughter bought this at KB Toys for $10, using her own saved-up allowance money. She was all excited about it. Mom had to help her with set-up. The paint sprays globs over the 6" pieces of paper that are included in the kit. Paint gets used up rapidly, requiring you to disassemble the paint canisters and refill fairly frequently. My best advice, if you buy it, is to use a VERY light touch on the "paint speed" button. My daughter's skills did improve with each paper she tried, however. I'm not sure how you'd paint a t-shirt unless you use transfers.I'm rating it 3 stars because that's what my daughter rated it, but I'd give it about 1.5.

Not as good as advertised
I guess you can't ever except anything to be as good as it's advertised and this is not exception. Paint dribbles out and frequently makes unattractive globs and lots of paint is wasted down the sides making the paint canisters not last very long. Plus I found assembly to be a headache. Worst is I got it for doing t-shirts since my daughters love to decorate clothes. However I can't even get my two year olds t-shirts to fit right.I give it three stars though because it is still fun and it's easier then spin art because I don't have to worry about cutting the paper just right and fitting it in, and trying to get slick paper.

Great Concept-Poor Design
This paint spinner is not worth the money. In my opinion, stick with the conventional models. This one has several faults:1. First of all, you have to fill two paint "reservoirs" that snap together to dispense the paint through a spraying mechanism. These two reservoirs are then placed in the spraying mechanism inside the machine. These are the only colors you can use on the project unless you change out the reservoirs. Sound complicated? It is! Changing them requires adult assistance (or a much older child) unless you want paint everywhere other than on your project! There are two sets of reservoirs for a total of four different colors.2. Having to fill the paint reserviors with two colors and then putting them inside the machine doesn't allow creativity. You are stuck with whatever two colors you put in the sprayer until you change them out, unlike the conventional models where you can drop whatever color suits your fancy at the time...and as I mentioned before this process is difficult and time consuming. I even tried dropping the paint from above like the old conventional paint spinners but the spinning speed is not fast enough. It just dribbles on the paper as if I was turning it with my hand :(3. When you finish your artwork, if you do not pull the spraying arm completely out of the way (in which my 4yr old did repeatedly) you'll leave a big globby line of paint across your artwork. Dissapointing! We used this product ONCE and made about 4 pictures (or attempted to make, I should say.) If I had kept my receipt, I would have DEFINITELY returned this item. I am going to get her the CHEAPER, conventional model though!Hope this helps!

Blue-green fingers...
We have blue-green fingers after fiddlin' with this masterpiece. Nothing but globs of paint. Papa isn't smart enough to make those fancy patterns... maybe Grandma should try with her magic touch. Avoid this one unless you want to waste paint and whatever you decide to put in the spinn' tray. The happy little girl in the picture obviously isn't helping to clean up the mess.

Worst toy this year. Needs to be improved.
I got this for my daughter for christmas. We have used it three times. Each time I wash it before use and it still does the same thing. The paint always clumps. It is a real mess to clean up. I did not like it at all.
