Fast, rugged, easy to setup
Fast, rugged, easy to setup. Didn’t use the included tools but they seemed fine and capable by all accounts. Can’t fault it, works flawlessly. 4TB made me think, my first hard disk was a a 40MB SCSI drive...

It is very, very well built for an external drive
Dense and well-structured case, with both soft silicone protection on the outside, as well as inside. Once the purple silicone sock is removed you'll a chassis similar to a standard Transcend drive (such as Transcend TS2TSJ25M3G). It's a 12.5mm WD Blue HDD which is better for longevity. I'd trust Transcend anytime (long-time supporter) over others as they are one of the few manufacturers using HDDs with USB to SATA adapters, as opposed to HDDs with USB port soldered to the drive, making data recovery a pain if anything happens.

Excellent speed.Its 3.1 USB when use same port it speed some time goes more the 100 MBPS. 👍👍👍👍Before i had 2TB, now i got 4TB.

Sea in a drive
Ergonomic design, very handy and it feels really good to have such a strong rug rubber casing. Wonderful product.

Works in slow motion
I wanted to use the disk for back-up but it is far too slow.Max speed (USB 3.1) for a single file was 22 MB/s while copying a folder with sub-folders around 2 MB/s. My two year old disks run around 70 MB/s in comparison.

Reliable product
I have used Transcend HD for the past 5 years and they never failed me. The HD has very good anti shock protection to cushion knocks and falls. Ever since I purchased the 1st Transcent, I have never used another brand.
