Q: If I decide to remove the channels one day will it damage the paint on the walls?

That depends on the mounting technique. If you use the double back tape provided to mount the channels to the wall you will most likely pull off some paint when removing the tape.

Q: Can they be trimmed down with scissors to make a shorter length?

Yes; I measured a 90 degree angle and the length I was looking for, and hecksaw'ed through the line I drew. I than sandpapered to complete my clean cut. But do not try scissors or a knife!

Q: Will these stick on bumpy concrete surfaces, sort of like stucco?

I was using them on painted with. I think bumpy stucco is going to be an issue though.

Q: I need to hide ceiling fan wires outdoors. Can these be used outside?
