Very nice quality, more compact length
These are very nice quality. The pole sections are smaller than the originals that came with my north face tent. They allow me to pack my tent and poles inside my motorcycle panniers. They are at least as nice as the originals.

Light weight replacement poles
I used these poles to replace much heavier fiberglass ones that came with the tent. They are light and the sizing correct.

Heavier than I imagined, but bent to shape alright.
I felt like these poles were a little heavier than I was anticipating, but they are the length indicated, required no assembly, but there were instructions for in case you happened to need to reduce the length of one or both poles. It was quite straightforward and I anticipate these poles becoming an essential part of my upcoming travels!

True to size, replaced fiberglass dome tent poles for Coleman Sundome 6 person
I was in a bind after breaking a tent pole, and didn't want to bother with repair. I had 16 ft 3 in poles for a Coleman Sundome 6 person tent, and broke a fiberglass pole. Some of my friends warned me not to replace them with aluminum. But people in reviews posted photos of tents a lot like mine--with two cross poles holding up a dome tent--and said they had good luck with replacing the fiberglass with aluminum. I will say that it's true that the aluminum is not as flexible--so it's a little bit more of a pain to work with. But it can definitely do the job, and once they're threaded through the loops, and the clips are applied, those poles aren't going anywhere. I was nervous, because the way the original poles locked in, wouldn't work with these (at the ends where they secured to the corners on the ground), but they're so taut in the clips and loops, they aren't going to move. So it's not really an issue. Just get the ends as close to the ground as you can, and it should be fine. Also, the Sundome is being replaced by the Skydome model--which has proprietary poles with a bend in them for more wall support. It's cool, but if you break one--you'll never find a replacement (IMO). And I'm happy with my Sundome and wanted to keep it for a while--since I haven't even used it yet. For the record, the original pole broke due to my own misuse, not product defect or issue. It's a great tent, and I recommend it. Spray some Silicone on it, and you're waterproof and good to go!

Used as material for special purposes tarp poles
Utilized 4 sections of each as spreader poles for War Bonnet SuperFly tarpUtilized other sections to make two 6 ft poles to open one side of War Bonnet SuperFly tarp in porch mode when good weather.Had to buy extra tips, had to cut & retie shock cords. Two sections left over from each pole assy.Worked perfectly as utilized.Inexpensive.Good quality.

Fits my tent & quality is pretty good.
Although the polls match the size of the poles I needed to replace I was hectic about ordering them. Before going camping, I tested them with my tent at home. All looks good and I am confident the next camping trip will be nice with these new poles. Quality appears to be just as good as the poles that came with my expensive tent.

Really happy to find these.
I have a Timber Creek tent from Academy and don't know if it's difficult to find replacement poles for all tents or just Academy tents, but I didn't want to just throw away a perfectly good tent.Took a chance on these even though the length was about ~4 inches longer... think my original tent poles were 166"....and these are about 3.68" longer. Was really happy when I put them onto the tent and, yes, the tent is certainly more taut, but not to the point of not functioning.I'd say they are good replacement poles and I'll know a bit better after first night out.I think there are 4 additional lengths than my original poles, but each individual length is shorter, so it equals out.So, moral: measure your overall length and see if you can get close. Longer than originals obviously better than shorter.
