Q: Is the "black" matte?

The black that I bought is matte, but there are other black versions that are not. There's even a black patent leather-look. I love these. Over time I have bought 2 pair of black, 3 navy, 1 purple. They are my favorite Birks and I have lots of other styles, but these are the best.

Not 100% orignal

The item seems fake or it is a factory returned item. After wearing it for a week, the sole is coming off and i can see it is attached with a glue. Never happened with Birkenstocks in s malls.
