Haier HF50CM23NW 5.0 cu. ft. Capacity Chest Freezer, White

Works perfectly. Cold. Directions said to put setting on 4. After 2 days I put it on 6. Put 2 large pizzas,a roast, 2 gallon ziploc bags of ribs, 2 gal ziplocs of chicken, 3 gals ice cream, plus ice cream bars, 2 gal vegetables, 3 frozen dinners. And plenty more room on bottom. Ordered late friday night. Received Tuesday afternoon. No dents. No scratches. Very fast delivery. Lots of room.Great product. Very pleased!!

The freezer was wonderful and just the right size. However, I had ordered it for my elderly Aunt, who mismeasured her space and it did not fit. Our fault, not the fault of the seller or the listing.The seller made it SO EASY for my aunt to return the freezer, including arranging a FedEx pickup. The return shipping was also very reasonable grateful. Super grateful for that and will happily purchase from the seller again.

I've only had this a few months and so far I love it. It will hold A LOT of food! So far, there is very little, if any, frost inside. I don't have it in an ideal location, but that's my fault. I searched around and this is a really great deal for a freezer this size. I did also purchase the additional 3 year warranty, which wasn't much $$$. So far, so good!!

We picked up the Haier 5.0 c.u. ft chest freezer about a month ago, and it has been pretty awesome to use. It gets nice and cold just as you’d expect. The 5.0 cu is more than enough for our family of three when combined with our normal refrigerator. We were able to store half a pig, a large turkey, a couple whole chickens, and we have plenty of room left. We actually have several gallon jugs of water in there too and we could still fit another half pig or more in it.It is fairly light weight. I was able to get it up our porch stairs by myself with a dolly. It is also small enough that it can fit in some pretty tight spaces. We have it in a small mechanical room attached to the garage and we had plenty of room for it. It gets a good seal, and it runs quiet. We added some gallon jugs of water (90% full) to it in order to help keep it from working too hard. I’ve always heard full freezers work best. I did have to use an extension cord, so I used a 12 guage cord and so far haven’t noticed any issues with the cord getting hot.The only problem I’ve had is that there were some dents in the side from shipping. They weren’t an issue for me so I accepted it and went on. I plan to add a wireless thermometer with an alert though since it isn't in a common area where we'd notice failure quickly. Just in case.

I'm sorry this didn't work out. The product arrived damaged to the point that it would not work. Return process was great, I cannot fault anything about the seller. I saw some reviews that indicated the freezer arrived with some cosmetic damage but still worked. I think I have to fault the manufacturer for the packaging, in this case it was not sufficient to protect the product.

Just received this today.I think they just through it from the truck to my driveway.I attached pics.The last pic is pieces found in the beat up box.I know the white piece is part of the hinge cover missing on the right side.I don't know what the little orange rubber thing is.It's plugged in and seems like it's getting cold.Very warm on the side of the freezer.Hopefully it works.Not real worried about looks, but this thing got beat up pretty good.

This freezer is perfect for a family of 1 or 2. It holds all the extras and so far I have not had to defrost it or see any signs of ice accumulating at all, none whatsoever. That was my concern, but I am glad I bought it. I bought extra baskets to go inside and that works well in separating the food. I recommend it. It doesn't take up much space either.

I heard pretty good reviews and decided to order because it seemed affordable and pretty fast. However I revived a 3.0 cu. ft. refrigerator instead of a 5.0 cu.ft.chest freezer. I'm so disappointed as I needed a freezer asap! I am not going to waste my time returning because it'll cost me too much so guess I'm stuck with it. I am actually going to Sears today to buy a chest freezer and pay more but I don't trust ordering another one and getting another wrong product. Very disappointing.
