After reading some reviews, I can see that some people did not get a quality unit.Mine works fine.Are you giving it a five but it's not as easy to install in an area that does not allow you to get to the back of the cabinet to install them out. I had it undo a wall in my trailer so that I could get to it. It also requires Clear and easy air flow to the back of the heater so that it will not overheat and turn itself off. For those that are reading this if you're going to put this somewhere that's in a tight space make sure you have air that gets to it subtle work properly. For what it is it wonderful for the price. It's amazing. I can't believe that somebody can make such an item and sell it in the United States for cheap businessman wise. I'm hoping that the cheapest does not mean it'll die when it's six months or a year because I don't think I can get another one to fit in the same area.That said, I'm hoping that mine will be a quality unit that'll work for years to come.Even if the fireplace died as long as the heater works, I'd be happy!

bought in November of 22 and is being used in a family room. worked fine for a few months and stopped working in January. Was going to return it within the window but I found a resetting procedure on the amazon website. Did not make any sense but while on phone with Turbro finalizing return it started working. so of course, I cancelled the return with the January 31 deadline. Today February 7th it stopped working again. Note, we don't use it all the time just a few hours a day. I dug out the paperwork and started pushing buttons and it came back on. Is it over heating? shutting down? usually a burning smell, then it stops heating. just a flame no blower or heat. Is this a communication issue with product manufacturer? They did seem very helpful, but I had to figure it out myself. All they could do was offer replacement etc. So, I figured it out.... I have to reset it. It seems to have a lot of quirks. But for now, it works beautifully just beware you have to problem solve. other than this small issue it works great and looks wonderful in the cabinet.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this attempting to make a buffet I got for free into a beautiful entertainment center and it turned out perfect. It was smaller than the space for it was which I knew going into purchasing so I had to do some carpentry work but I and in love. 2 days work and it turned out perfect. It has a slight motor sound but once my framing was done You can’t hear it at all. The heat works perfect and with in seconds you can tell it works on heating or small living room space. It has sensors that will cause it to turn off and blink when anything gets in front of the heat output. I waved my hand indent to make sure it was working and thought I got a broken one but just a safety thing. We love it!!

This fireplace has exceeded my expectations. I live in a 35' rv and the insulation isn't anything like a house would have. I figured I'd be cold again. Going to bed I set this on 71° and had to get up in the night and turn it down. I had it installed and my tv is above it which concerned me but the heat goes straight out and 6 hours later the tv was cool to the touch. I didn't think this fireplace would heat to good because it was on the least expensive side but it has surpassed all.

After the lights burn out there’s no way to replace it! It only lasted 3 years and we hardly even used it. I feel like there should be a way to replace the lights if I’m spending this much money

We had a unit that died after 15+ years and decided on this one as it most closely fit the cabinet we had. This 23" fireplace works great at keeping our basement warm and it's so nice having one that is remote controlled. Turbro really stands behind their product, too! The original unit had a problem after a period of time and they quickly responded and immediately replaced the unit as it couldn't be fixed. I would definitely purchase from them again.

Insert and heat work fine, but it’s difficult to replace the bulbs because they aren’t standard size and are wired in.
