Adjustable and versitile
Another reviewer said that this pack is unsuitable for people with a long torso. That reviewer probably didn't understand that the straps can be adjusted. I'm 6'4" and the pack fits me well. I think it would work well for people taller than me. Short people could use it just as well. It really does adjust...About the pack- It's comfortable and can carry weight with ease. The bottom half of the pack has a partitioned camera bag that can be accessed from the side of the pack when it is held on one shoulder. The bag can be removed and carried with a shoulder strap if desired. The top half of the pack can be used for accessories, clothing, food, etc. A person who travels light could probably do a weekend trip with camera gear in the bottom and personal gear in the top section.A tripod can be attached to the pack. An accessory strap is available that lets you use the tripod without removing your pack. I don't have this accessory and am not able to comment on how it works.

Ok if it fits.
Ok, if it fits you. Mine was too short for my torso so I can't give it a proper review. It's a bit boxy as all the dslr backpacks seem to be.

Ridiculous proportions. Not made for human body.
If you are relatively tall or slim, do not expect this to fit. It has no internal frame; all of the weight sits on the shoulders, and the padded section of the waist strap is so long that even adjusted to its tightest setting, it still flops around even a somewhat slim individual.Worse still, the waistband size scales up with the packs; so, while the smallest pack has a merely floppy strap, the largest pack looks downright comical.Likewise, the sternum strap on the midsize and large bags sits at nipple level, at the highest.Total disappointment. Buy an actual backpacking pack, and a camera insert.

An excellent, all-round camera pack
This pack filled a void in my camera gear: larger than an old and much-liked Lowepro that I've had for over ten years, but not too large for airliner overheads or to be a nuisance. I really like the amount of space in the upper compartment; on a recent international trip, I loaded obscene amounts of clothes, first aid kit, an iPad, and food in the compartment, and it seals tightly with a drawstring and nylon straps. Lots of other ingenious features, and many pockets for storing CF cards, filters, etc. The camera compartment is a bit small, but it's adequate for a body and two lenses. And the compartment is removable - a bit of design genius. It also has a hip belt, which I absolutely must have in a camera pack. The only design change I'd recommend are load-lifter straps. I imagine the thinking was that since the pack is frameless, it doesn't need such straps. But my old Lowepro is frameless, is smaller, and has load-lifter straps. And they make a difference. Mindshift/Think Tank really should add them - an inexpensive fix. Overall, a well-designed and much-needed daypack.
