Easy change
Well built. A little expensive, but well worth it. I have both a road and mountain bike. The easy charge spinal is great, each of my bikes have a different size and with the Hot Rod I don’t need additional mounts. I have the Hot Rod mount on plywood in bed of my trunk. I didn’t want to drill holes in the truck bed.

Great mount, bad set screws.
Great mount but the set screws stink. As others have noted you will need to replace the set screws as these are prone to rust, stripping and they back out after just a few uses. The mount itself works really well. I mounted it to a 2x6 and set it I. The bed of my truck. I then mount my bike to it and use an additional locking cable to secure it. I’ve driven from Dallas to San Antonio a few times with bike in tow and it’s been perfectly stable at highway speeds. Would recommend just replace the set screws and you’re good.

Highest Possible Praise
What an amazing product! it comes with three other sleeves that allow you use one mount on multiple bicycles. The quality is outstanding, and totally justifies the price! I used these in conjunction with 1080 Steel T-Nuts to affix them to the existing bed rails on my Toyota Tacoma and ended up with an amazing end result with minimal effort.

I bought 2 of them... one for my seasucker Talon and other one to transfer my bike from the car to my garage wall. Don't forget to use blue loctite on your screws when fastening them.

My bikes are safe and secure with the rocky mount. Easy to secure and detach. Love it! Definitely recommend this product.

Rock solid mounts.
These mounts are AWESOME. I didn't care about holes in my top rail. And there was no need to tie down our back wheels. This was our first road trip with these mounts and they were solid all 800 miles on the road. Our 12x100 specialized thru axles fit through them perfectly.

Works good
The only mount i could find for a through hub road bike. Works reallly well and looks great. A bit pricey for what it is but hey quality costs.6 month edit...The Allen type set screws that hold the sleeve in place are too small and come loose very easy. Don't want to over tighten and strip them out but can't seem to get them tight enough to keep the sleeve to say centered. - 1 star.
