Had to purchase this book for school. As I'm reading it it is opening my eyes. I likw how the chapters reference scriptures in thw bible so they can be applied appropriately. This is a goos read.

Love books were you don't have to parse through 80% of the book to get the meat. Loaded from start to finish.

Every church leader needs to read this book to help open their eyes & remind them of the work of the spirit. Even if you don't agree with everything in the book there are so many great reminders & principles that we need to hear.

Thank you Terry for waking me from my spiritual lethargy. Not just the Spirit, nor just the Word but BOTH working together with the Father.

This is a phenomenal vision of the church and what it could be. I'll recommend it to anyone wanting to consider what a healthy, spirit-filled church looks like.

The chapter on leadership is worth the whole book. Rich with pastoral sensitivity and wisdom. Some helpful insight on the gift of apostle in ch 15!

The Spirit-Filled Church is among the best works I have ever read bringing both practical and biblical clarity to life in the Spirit in the church. Truly God has given us the Holy Spirit to grow our churches and to attempt our mission without this empowerment is unthinkable. The Holy Spirit is indispensible and Terry leads us into a right relationship with Him. If you desire to be part of God's kind of church growth then you absolutely must read this book!

Inspirational! Easy to read with easy-to-understand vocabulary. Some spiritual content was difficult for me to accept, but after some further reading on the same subject and consultation withChristian friends, I'm going to read it again.

This is a very thought provoking book and at the same time a good read. I would recommend this book by Terry Virgo.
