IT WORKS GREAT
It works. The image is in color. It's not 1080p but it looks clear. Looked in my sink drain pipe and inside garbage disposal just to test it. Battery was charged out of the box. Purchased to look inside glock firing pin channel. Don't move it to fast or it will not focus when using it.... move it then stop and let the camera focus. The remote is simple and easy to use. I was surprised it came with a memory card as well to save pics taken using the scope. I got the 3.8mm camera to make sure the cam would fit inside the channel. But this thing. It's worth it. If I still worked on cars I'd use it for that as well.

Handy Device
Works great, battery holds a charge. Took away one star because it can be very hard to get the camera to focus at times. Overall though, for the price, I'm impressed.

Better than expected
Works great. Takes pictures and video. Picked up for inspecting rifling, and fits in a 22.

It's okay
It has good image quality and good led's, but the mirror attachment is too thick to fit inside any bore under 10mm since the clip is so huge. Wouldn't go down an 8mm Mauser barrel with the mirror. Also the screen has no good viewing angle. It looks funny from all angles. But if you're looking to do YouTube videos I suppose the recording quality is good enough, just not with the mirror attachment provided. I saw basically the exact same endoscope for $10 less than this one. I thought that $10 would get me more quality, but I'm doubtful. Seem to be made by the same factory. I'm not displeased with the camera overall. It will do it's job. But I kind of wish I went with the bluetooth 3.9mm endoscope to use my phone as a screen. Oh well. At least it still works for me. I'm sure there are mirror attachments out there that will make the experience better.

Truly 3.9mm diameter
This is an updated review. When I ordered the 3.9mm endoscope, I received a product with a 8mm diameter tip as seen in my first photo and left a 1-star review claiming the product information was misleading. The seller contacted me and offered to send me a replacement because they believed I someone on their end had shipped the incorrect item. I received the replacement, and am very happy to say that the endoscope is in fact 3.9mm diameter at the tip as the product information describes. My second photo shows this. So thank you to the seller for excellent customer service.I have not had a chance to use the endoscope much, but after just going through the menu and playing with it a bit, I do think it's a pretty good device and has a lot of useful functionality. I like that you can add a timestamp to the photo itself. Most importantly, this is one of the few endoscopes available on amazon with an approximately 4mm diameter tip. Almost all others I've seen while browsing are 8mm or larger.Note that in the photo of the menu screen (third photo), I have not yet removed the screen protector.

For the price, it did the job
UPDATE review: I have to drop my rating to 1 star. The camera began malfunctioning not long after my initial review. The handheld LCD displays a blue screen with red text stating the camera isn't found. it seems to be a connection issue because if I wiggle the cable around sometimes the camera will come back on, and if I slap the camera against my hand sometimes it'll detect the camera again. Trying to slap/whip the camera around was a last-ditch effort to see if it still works.Original review, 3/5 stars: I bought this for a specific job, and it gave me more peace of mind than if I hadn't had it. I needed to check a cylinder head for metal shavings and debris, after installing a Time-Sert insert for plug#3. My Honda Fit plug wells are recessed extra deep vs non-imports, and I found it a little tricky to get the camera bent in a way that allowed me to get a clear picture of the piston surface and cyl walls. But it was good enough. My main concern is while using it, at one point the video feed was lost from the camera. The screen went blue or gave an error or something, I don't remember exactly. I gave the camera line a wiggle and it reconnected. If it did that during the first 20mins of use, I don't have high hopes it's going to work a long time.I think for the price, depending on what you need it for, it could definitely be worth it for you. Good luck!

Good quality product
This is a good quality endoscope. The lights are very bright and the focal length is very broad. The light tip does get a bit warm surprisingly. The operation is intuitive. Take it out of the box. Charge it and use it. Period. For the price point I can recommend this endoscope. If I were to buy again, I would buy the one with a 5mm camera. The 8 mm camera would be good also. The bigger the scope, the broader the field of view.
