Renting is the way to go!
The book came in excellent condition and the price point was way below what my school was priced. Definitely renting through Amazon again.

Fast delivery, great content, but needed better packaging.
I purchased a new copy of this book because I didn't want any wear and tear. It's an important book for my studies (I major in Forensic Psychology). It arrived quickly, but was packaged in one of the thinly padded mailers, so both the front and back covers were bent and slightly damaged upon arrival. This would have been better shipped in a small box, as the book is not hardcover. The content is relevant to the subject and covers forensic psychology and the legal aspects of it extensively. I understand that some people may be taken aback by the facts presented within this book, but that's what education does: challenges you to think critically. This book can cause some cognitive dissonance - but it can be a good thing. Psychology teaches us that cognitive dissonance can help us to grow. And this book helps facilitate learning... If you're open to it!

Only two holes and extremely flimsy
Do to another site and get this book cheaper. Overall it’s a flimsy textbook with only two hole punches. Pages are super thin and very delicate. Try and find a pdf version!

The book is not well conserved
The book has some yellow stains in the main cover, this front cover is a bit damaged, and the back cover has some wear. I paid for a original new copy, not a damaged one.

Wouldn't Recommend
Well, the textbook begins by praising European "social scientists" aka socialist scientists that came to The United States of America with the intention of changing the American legal system, particularly by utilizing psychology to accomplish this. I would never support a textbook that does this. Americans should not have allowed people from other countries to just come in and change their systems. Many of the references in this textbook are from bias, extremist sources that focus on identity politics. Many of the references are about ethnicity/race politics, gender politics, feminism, and "inequality." One of the references imply conservatism is "right-wing authoritarianism." The textbook promotes leftists, such as leftist social scientists and leftist judges, and leftist ideology while attacking conservative judges and jurisdictions. I would not recommend this biased textbook, it is more propaganda than informative and I will be filing a complaint with my university and the Department of Education for the use of this textbook in the curriculum.
