I have used this product for almost 10 years. I always order it directly from the company. But since I am a loyal Amazon customer and I saw someone sold it via Amazon. I ordered several from Amazon.I immediately noticed a difference.- The consistency is much thinner- There is a grit like substance in it- The product is lighter in color- The smell is different- The efficacy of the product has been diminished when usedBecause I could not return the ones purchased from Amazon I lost >$150.I only buy directly from the company itself now.

It works.
The smell hit me and I instantly went back in time to my ten year old self at Sunday Mass in the summer with legs covered in poison ivy. This is old school calamine lotion. I happened to have had a spider bite I have been nursing so I dabbed some on the itchy spot and I am glad I did. It started healing the next day. Maybe it is the strength of this product that works so well. It doesn't have a good sent but who cares when you need a miracle and this is it.
