I bought this (or a very similar product) four years ago to test along my concrete driveway to keep the concrete edge separated from groundcovers and to make weed control easier. This original mulch strip met all my expectations and drastically cut maintenance along the driveway where it was installed, but I could not find it again until this year. I have installed 13 rolls so far this year and expect to use an additional 4 before I am finished. It has been a monster job as the driveway edge had to be cleared, roots removed, soil added and then the edges smoothed and the dirt packed by walking over and over it. I placed the mulch strip about 1/4" lower than the driveway. I bought contractor staples from Amazon which are far superior to anything I have seen previously and used a hammer to pound them into the ground. As with all projects, your results depend on proper preparation and installation. I expect to reap the rewards of this fairly expensive, labor intensive project for years - probably decades. Bonus - the strip is easy to pull up and make corrections if you have gotten it too high or low. I put a light layer of pine straw over the strip to blend it into the landscape.

I like the product. They have doubled in price from about 6 months ago.. The 5 rolls weigh 31 pounds that came in one large box.Delivery girl very nice. Please provide her and other misses with dolleys. Women are not suppose to carry heavy packages. We are strong.Still, we are not designed to carry heavy objects.She walked up my driveway to my side porch. I stayed way back from her and before I remembered what it was it was to late to have her drop them at front of driveway for me. She was verry, verry nice.They are recycled rubber edging 4 inches wide by 10 feet long. Heavy.I bought 5 so box was heavy and large.

This mulch is coarser than I am used to and more loosely woven but I am pretty sure it is going to work fine. The price was very reasonable. So far, thumbs up.

I bought the Plow & Hearth 55632 Recycled Rubber Permanent Garden Mulch Border, 120 L x 4.50 W, Black to put between the concrete block holding my heat pump and my house to minimize weed growth. It has worked all spring and all summer. I cut it into 3rds to have 3 strips and it fits good and has minimized weed growth for its 1st year of use. I don't know how many years it will last, but it still appears new after the 1st spring and summer. I hope that it also holds up well for the fall and winter.

I am writing this too late to be able to return the product because I just opened the box that I ordered several months ago. I was, admittedly, COVID 19 distracted.The mulch strips are very flimsy! One of the 3 strips was torn & falling apart as I took it out of the box. It looked like it had been returned damaged from a previous order and the seller sold it again in my order. It is unusable. I cannot see these strips standing up to a long summer especially in hot, hot, hot Texas. You have to handled them very carefully because each of the strips began to pull apart/tear just lifting them to install.The mulch strips is quite narrow. It is a scant 4" wide. It would be useful as a strip along a walkway or next to a driveway but not in fronting a flowerbed as I was going to use it.Also, no stakes are provided with the strips nor was this noted when ordering. So, keep that in mind if you order these recycled strips.

Product is great easy to work with. The first order I received was great, but the next order did not have the anchor in my order, tried to get them to send the anchor but they wanted me to send my order back & receive another order, but I had already started putting it down & didn't want to wait for another order. I had to go to Home Depot to get the anchors I needed.

It it definitely sturdy. I used to border a grave marker. It was difficult to cut down the middle but I wanted something tough. (Nailed it in place with 5" nails!) This is my attempt to solve the problem of grass growing over the grave marker. We'll see.
