Clinical Hematology and Fundamentals of Hemostasis

There’s some cosmetic damage to the spine, and the pages are thinner than I’m used to, so you can make out the words if the next page. However it’s a fully functional textbook for a reduced price! The textbook has some great features! Each chapter has a summary chart and a quiz with answers in the back. The visuals all looks great, I haven’t noticed any misprints. The writing from the next page really isn’t noticeable if you’re not looking at it. I will be buying from this company if I end up in the textbook market again!

I needed this book for my school MLT hematology program. It is a really good hematology reference book with significantly deep science related to the study of blood and blood related problems. It is rather large as a volume which means that it is a good bookshelf reference book. A good range of really nice pictures and graphics as well as much information about each of the topics as you will need for a 2 year, 4 year degree and beyond. Well laid out information allows for easier understanding despite the depth of knowledge portrayed.

When I first saw this book I got scared because of the size and weight of it, but when I finally got the courage to open it and start reading it, it surprised me! I found this book to be really good and the pictures are great and help out a lot. The case studies at the end of each chapter are really great and got me to understand more and think about the content of the chapter, which by doing that helped me to remember!! Also the last part of the book: Laboratory methods, was a great help to me both in preparing for class and when it came to writing the report, the book tells you step by step how the procedures are done. I will always keep this book for reference as I know it will help in during my career as a lab technongist.

The book was very helpful for my Hematology class and my professor loves it! (So much so that he uses the questions from the book word for word!) The pictures did fall out of the binding after a few uses but all in all I loved this book.

Great pictures, A little lengthy in wording, but you can scan read it and get all the info you would need. It goes into very good depth yet not too much to be boring. Also the reviews summary and questions at the end of each chapter are very helpful.

Great book. I needed it for a class i am curently taking and this was half the price of the bookstore. I received it fast and brand new.
