Install was not as complicated as it looks when you open the box. Very straight forward.The faucet looks amazing and functions just perfect.

Beautiful faucet but the pull down mechanism keeps needing adjusting. Sometimes it doesnt pull back up as it is supposed to.

This review is for the Pfister LG529-HGS Highbury Pull Down Kitchen Faucet, Stainless Steel. This is an excellent quality kitchen faucet. You immediately feel and see the quality as soon as you pull it out of the box. It is thicker than most kitchen faucets, with a look that makes it an actual show-piece part of your kitchen.Beyond just the great looks of the faucet, it has a lot of functional features. Unlike other faucets of this type, the water control handle only moves forward toward you, which is perfect for areas where the back splash or wall behind the sink is very close. You can operate with the sprayer head in place, or pull it out for flexibility with the hose that extends over a foot in length. The head re-seats neatly back into the faucet neck with the weight attached at the bottom of the hose and the magnetic grip on the faucet head.The sprayer head itself has 3 different modes: normal stream, normal spray, and blade spray, which is great for quickly removing food particles from dishes. These are all controlled by the buttons on the head, which are nicely hidden on the back of the head to keep the front looking sleek. The design of the sprayer also comes with the added benefit of conserving water.It is a very simple do-it-yourself install to easily replace an existing kitchen faucet for either a single hole or 3-hole counter top.A couple of tips regarding this faucet:- Position the weight on the line just slightly above the bottom of the line curve under the sink. You want just enough weight tension on the hose where it smoothly retracts back into the neck, but not so much that it feels too heavy when pulling it out. It is simple to adjust.- Even though the pictures on this product currently depict a base plate that you need for a 3-hole counter top to cover the 2 unused holes, it DOES NOT come in the box with this faucet. However our family actually did not have to purchase it separately. In the owners manual, the required base plate part number is listed, along with a Pfister phone number to call. We called this number, and they are actually sending us the base plate FOR FREE! You will have to wait a few days to receive it, so keep this in mind. This base plate is not required if you counter top only has 1 hole.

I bought 2 of these and a year later I had a leak develop. Ordered parts and repaired it. A year later, I had a different leak in the handle. Aside from that, the spout doesn't seat well. You get what you pay for and you are paying for cheap, plastic junk.

The faucet head doesn’t alway align up to close completely could use a magnet lock

Okay, several things I’ve noticed during the installation which I need to point out about this faucet. 1. 3 hole base plate is not included, nor is a rubber o ring/gasket for the mounting nut below/under the sink. There is a beauty/trim ring with a foam gasket for above the sink around the base of the unit which is great. It also has some very nice easy installation features such as the slip on center hose weight as well as the brass adapter fittings which go on with compression o-rings and hand tighten at the top where they meet the copper tubing, wrench at the hose side. Also one of the easiest installation for the pull put hose clamp underneath the sink. However the center nut measures approximately 2-2 1/4 inches (Not sure exact measurement) is almost impossible to install without the proper wrench. You will need a telescoping basin wrench which adjusts with extra large jaw 7/8 to 2 1/2. This wrench telescopes 10” and up to 17” and adjusts as well from side to side. Without this type of wrench you’re going to have a difficult time with installation of the mounting nut. One more thing I’d like to point out, the on/off lever swings toward you and in the upright position, instead of backwards and forward so it’s a little different visually from what I’m used to, please see the photos. The faucet sprayer has 3 settings, spray, straight stream and another 3rd setting with pressure stream. Beautiful design, great quality. This one reminds me of a swans neck with the long upward handle. Pfister seems to always make wonderful quality faucets.

I needed a faucet for install after a new under counter sink and new counter were installed. I really couldn't decide on how we were going to install it, and if we were going to go with the undercounter sink for sure. Well we did, and after we had the counter installers drill one hole, we installed this faucet ourselves. Everything we need was in the package -- including ALL hardware. It is guaranteed NEVER to leak (woo hoo!), and it has a pull down sprayer with three spray settings you can change with one hand. Mine included the optional plate (if your sink has three holes), but I'm not sure it's always included. If you need it, make sure your faucet will include it.The sprayer is really sturdy and kind of locks in place in the faucet. Much better than previous sprayers I've had. Also, the finish is GORGEOUS. I love it. It's a beautiful expensive-looking faucet. It really changes the look of my sink. I'm very happy with it.

A licensed experienced plumber installed the faucet, and after a month the hot water stopped running through. I called the plumber again, and the issue was the cartridge inside the faucet. The manufacturer refused to return and refund, they only offered to ship a new cartridge for free which means the plumber's labor again. This is unacceptable.
