My Dyson is now back in its prime 🙌 thanks to this new battery. I couldn't vaccum on max power because my old battery was shot so I'm glad I chose this one as a replacement!

Great replacement for Dyson V6 - charger plug is good
For those on the fence with so many choices of replacement parts, this one worked well for me (and very good price). Initially took the risk on this item due to shipping time as needed the vacuum quickly fixed.For my surprise this has been working great in the last 10 days (not long term test) and glad to report this product does NOT have the same problem some other replacement have that is the charger plug is hard to insert/remove. My Dyson V6 had already a replacement but the previous one had a problem on the plug (too tight and hard to use w/ wall support). Also the power button works great on this one (previous one was too sensitive).

Great Replacement
I don't think this is a 4.5 ah battery, but it appears to be as good as the oem battery so far. Great price compared to the oem,

Worked great until it started to deliver a shock!!
I bought this as a replacement for my original Dyson battery and it was awesome! Longer lasting, seemed like the whole package. But then just 9 months into having it the battery now gives me a shock when vacuuming from the charging port!! It's dangerous and really too bad.

Works great so far
About the only difference from the original battery I found was that the blue light on this one goes off after fully charged, whereas it used to stay on on the original as long as it was plugged in the charger. Not much of a problem.Discharge time seems comparable to the original.Like with all replacement batteries, the key is longevity in terms of number of charge cycles - too early to tell on that. Giving the benefit of doubt now with 5 stars. Will update if less than expected.

So far, so good
Bought this to replace the battery on my Dyson. After owning the vacuum for over 5 years, the original battery finally and rapidly went from allowing me to cover most of the house, to only lasting for a room and a half. Bought this one as a replacement and surprisingly, it was already charged. Easy to install with 2 screws. It fits the wall charger and full house vacuum capacity has been restored. Have had the new battery for only a week, but so far, so good.
