Will they bend? Yes, they were bent in the form of a hanger. Hang a t-shirt on them, then No. Do a Macho Man Randy Savage squeeze on them, Yes it will bend. Let a Toddler play with it, No they will not. Hang a 50 pound lead weight on them, Yes it will bend. Hang your heavy winter coat on one, No it will hold. If you are wondering if these are your typical old style steal wire hanger, then no they are not. They will not bend for their intended purposes but use them untypically then yes they will bend. I have found them to hold up way better than a plastic hanger. Do not let the skinny stainless steal fool you. They are much stronger then meats the eye but play "Eye of the Tiger" while watching Rocky and you might end up bending one. Hope that helps!!!

How do these compare to Huggable Hangers if you have used those?

I have used the type that have the velvet coating...several styles and I like that they don't allow light-weight fabrics to fall off the hangers, but I found them a bit "flimsy" for hardier fabrics. These Seropy hangers are wonderful and very sturdy and truth be told, they are the best wire hangers I've ever used. Very smooth and my closet looks so organized. I also purchased the JS Hangers for our pants/slacks and my sweaters/cardigans. I think these hangers will last a life-time. I was not disappointed in my purchase of the Seropy Hangers.
