Sorry so late to your question. No your machine has a different knee lifter. It's larger than this one, specific to your machine

Q: Will this fit the brother pq1500?

I have the Juki HZL-F300 and the Brother pq1500sl and I just tried the need lifter on the Brother pq1500sl and it DOES FIT but its loose (wobbles) but it does fit 🤗

Q: I have had this knee lifter inserted for some time and now need to remove it and it seems to be stuck. How exactly is this removed (for transport)?

When you put it in the lift is a little to the left To take it out bring back to the right and it will stop then pull straight out.

Q: Will this also fit a Bernina Record 830?

I don't know. Be aware that it is an after-marker product. It does not fit my new Juki perfectly, but it still does the job.
