BEST DRIP-LINE Hole Punch TOOL - BAR NONE
Over the years I have installed drip-lines to improve watering plants (without water waste). I have purchased MANY hole punch tools for drip-line irrigation, and this HOLE PUNCH tool has been the best investment so far. Easy to use, easy to operate, punches clean holes in VERY WARM (Hot tubing) or cold. good engineering!!

Something I did not know I needed
This is a great product very simple and strong. It did take me a minute to figure it out but WOW! The fittings are tight and I am not hurting my hands with trying to force things together any longer. I don't think you need to buy their fittings kit. I did but it is very similar to everything else out there nothing special with the tool. I have not tested it however with the Raindrip fittings other company's products. I am pretty confident it will work though.

When to use this tool!
Let me start by saying the tool works as designed, however if you’ve never used this punch tool on plastic irrigation tubing there are a few tips that will help. When the punch first arrived it was in the afternoon and the ambient temperature was about 78 degrees F. The tubing size I was punching was 3/4. I cut a one foot piece to try the punch tool out on first. Every hole I tried to punch was unsuccessful. Frustrated, I went online looking at other tools thinking maybe mine was just junk. I came across a manufactures website, read information about their punch tool and read some important info. It recommended the tubing to be punched be cool. I placed my sample in the refrigerator for a few minutes and tried again with success. Needless to say, I began my job at 0700 when temperature here was about 58 degrees F. Hope this helps!
