Good quality so far. My husband is a chef who is the one primarily using it and he is happy with it.

Very dissatisfied. It appears moldy! I wish I’d read the comments because others had the same problem. ZERO stars

I love seaweed salad, and have been determined to make my own version at home. So this one was recommended, but I'm not sure why. It's like eating a tree! Too many stems and (hard) branches. The flavor is ok, but not worth the trouble. It's clumped together and hard to separate. I cut it up before hydrating it, but it's still 'chewy'. I will finish the package, but won't purchase it again.

Products seems to be of good quality, but I was shocked that they included the tough stems. I’m used to getting hijiki with the “leaves” separated already. Not only do the stems take up weight, but they’re annoying to remove. Would not purchase again.

Disgusting product. White fuzzy threads, clumps of dirt mixed into the seaweed. Threw in garbage, RIPPED OFF!!

When I received this package, I had assumed the white on the seaweed was salt from the sea that was left behind as it was drying. However, once I opened the package, my entire kitchen ended up smelling rather rancid and upon closer inspection the white appeared to have thin weblike tandrils. Still, I decided to taste the white to be sure it was not salt. Definetly not salt. Hugely disappointed as this product is not inexpensive and I really love seaweed. :-(

I just made a miso soup with this hijiki after soaking hijiki for about 20 minuites.It was just like a Japanese hijiki but more chewy texture.👍

Not available for return and it is not edible.
