I purchased two of these before taking off to perform on a cruise ship for four months. In all honesty, they felt so different from regular pedals, that I almost trashed them within days of first trying them.Glad I didn't. Even though they felt/feel differently, the thing I noticed was that my right foot was STILL able to do more with them than my left (as has always been the case for this über-righty) and I decided to challenge myself to at least get the left a bit closer to feeling the way the right did on them. After using them for a number of weeks, I grew accustomed to them and they weren't so odd to me anymore. On top of that, they're so stinkin' quiet . . . I could get some practicing done just about anywhere.Almost two years after that cruise gig, I've still got these guys -- now setup as the pedals I use with my DW Smart Practice pad kit. Final verdict: I love 'em!

Hansenfutz Practice pedal does an adaquite job. I broke one of my double bass pedal's, It still works, But not that well. THEY ARE GOOD PEDALS espically If You Remove The Silencer Pad, If You Want To Hear the PEDAL.

The petals are sturdy,with a fairly good feel.I happen to like to hear the clics so I keep the inserts out.But if you want it quiet they work great with the inserts in.They have a good range of tenstion adjustment for feel.The velcro works well (not on tile or wood floors)but its still a good product.

These pedals are good for what they are good at, quiet practice pedals. I live in an apartment so even using a standard practice pad/pedal setup was going to cause the floor to shake, and angry neighbors to show up at the door. With these and the felt silencer pads in, I can finally practice!! However, they don't feel exactly like real pedals (or even a practice kick pedal setup), and getting the pedal to the correct tension is a bit of a pain.For quiet practice purposes I definitely recommend these.

This is one of the problems with buying gear sight-unseen. The pedals are made of the flimsiest plastic imaginable and feel NOTHING like real pedals. SAVE YOUR MONEY. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS!!! I would have been better off throwing my money out of a moving car.
