Q: How well is the 8" pan balanced? i have the 10 & 12 and love them, but the 10" tips very easy when not filled due to the wieght of the handle.

Our 10'' does not tip. It is very stable. Do not have the 8''

Q: The only difference between the "Professional Fusion" and the red handle "Professional" line is the rivets on the inside?

The professional fusion does not have the river heads on the inside of the pan.

Q: Does it bow in the middle and therefore create a hotspot after being used for a while?

I have not noticed that after using it for the past six weeks - still seems to heat evenly across the surface.

Q: Is this pan induction compatible?

The Tramontina Fusion Fry Pan #80114/515DS is not induction compatible, but works great on gas, electric and ceramic glass cooktops. An alternative would be Tramontina's Gourmet Slate Gray, 10-inch fry pan #80110/068DS, which is compatible with induction cooktops, as-well-as gas, electric, and ceramic glass.
