Amazing gymnast Read
We will be buying every book! Really struggling with my 9yr old and reading, putting her behind her age level in reading. She is a level 3 gymnast. She can relate to everything in this book and she is actually asking to read more often! I'm hoping since the reading level slowly gets hard throughout the series She will be able to keep up and continue loving to read this series!

Great books for beginner gymnasts with positive message.
My friend recommended I buy this series for my 7 year old daughter who is training level 4. The text is too difficult for her to read by herself but she really enjoys me reading it to her as a bedtime story. The chapters are relatively short and easy to read out loud. I love that the moral of the story in each book applies to my daughters life and she’s going through similar things as the characters in the story.

You don’t have to love gymnastics to love this book!
This book reminded me a bit of the “Shoe” books by Noel Streatfeild, like “Ballet Shoes.”Like Streatfeild, Torres gives you an insider’s look into a competitive world - gymnastics here - through the eyes of a young girl coming up through the ranks… You follow all the challenges, trials, and triumphs that ensue from setting high goals and working hard. With themes of “new kid”, friendship & teamwork, challenges, and achieving goals, this book has something for everyone.Loved it!

A fun start to this gymnastics series for elementary-aged readers
I'VE GOT THIS features eight-year-old Trista who has just moved to a new town and is starting serious gymnastics for the first time (after previously only doing tumbling classes). Trista's voice rings true as an eight-year-old. She wants what she wants, she expects to be good at everything pretty quickly, and she wants a lot of attention. I like that there are actual skills mentioned and explained, and the illustrations of a skill at the beginning of each chapter are great to give readers a visual representation if they are not familiar with the skills themselves. If I'm going to get nitpicky, I'd say that some of the dialogue punctuation mistakes made my inner editor cringe a little, but otherwise I really enjoyed the story and will read more in the series.

9yo gymnast who doesn't really like reading LOVES this series
This is the first book series my 9 year old has fallen for. We've bought the entire series and wishing there were more! As a young gymnast (working to master her last few combinations to make the local gymanstics team), she can relate to the challenges each of the characters face: comparing your skills to those of your friends, frustration as you try to master a skill, seeing other parents more/less involved than your own family, social dynamics within the gym, etc. Each book focuses on a different girl in the gym, and she's enjoyed learning about each of them. The chapter length means we can read 1-2 chapters each night. The little action drawings of a particular skill at the beginning of each chapter are a fun detail.

Love it
I bought book 1 and 2 so far for my 7 year old daughter. She’s a level 3 gymnast and the book sounds a lot like they are telling her story. This series so far has kept her very interested. We really are enjoying it 👍👍❤️

Great books
My young gymnast daughter loves reading these books. They describe gym and competitions in a similar way as she has experienced. I would recommend to any gymnast between the ages of 5-10.
