Q: Can this be used on house windows? Like the original shiwala?

CAUTION. Do not waste your money on this inferior product. It is not like the original. Design is the same, but the material of the mop is not. It is flimsy and flops around. It looks the same until you wet it. Cannot wash windows with it. I tried and it failed miserably. In retrospect I wish I would have recorded a demonstration attempting to wash windows and my car. I tossed it in the rubbish bin.

Q: what are the dimensions of this item

The mop is aprox 14 inches in diameter.The handle is adjustable and will adjust to 5 feet.it does a satisfactory job but is not quite as good as the original Shilawa that was made years ago.

Q: Anyone know which bucket will accomadate this ?

I use a five gallon plastic bucket from Home Depot, but you can use a smaller container like one for doing dishes. The head is actually small.

Q: Will this scratch a car like regular brushes?

No; and I have been using one for at least 20 years on my "factory ordered 94' Z28 Camaro convertible". Just ensure you keep car surface and Shiwala wet with "car shampoo" always and be sure to rinse car thoroughly before and after using (never a HARD stream of water). Don't let auto shampoo dry on car surface and NEVER use anything other than an automotive soap (Meguiar's is the best IMO) on a car. Rinse Shiwala thoroughly after using.

Greatest Car Wash tool

This is the greatest time-saver. . .You can easily clean a roof, even one taller than your head. Great for SUVs and for small people. Even for a sedan, it shortens time by extending your reach.The material is similar to the "cloth" strips used in car washes. Just remember to rinse frequently in a bucket and your car will stay scratch-free (same advise no matter your cleaning sponge/rag/mitt).

Shiwala car mop

Not as good as the shiwalas from 15 years ago , but it does the job okay .I recommend it ... It does make car washing easier

A Must Have For Auto Washing
