B: Girth of Neck - The neck size determines whether your dog will be comfortable wearing the clothing. C: Girth of Chest - Measure right around the body from behind the front legs around the deepest part of your dog's chest. How to Physically Measure Your Pet: First of all the tools: 1) First get yourself a flexible measuring tool such as a seamstress' tape measure, but if you don't have one you can use a ribbon or a piece of string and a ruler - mark the measurement on the ribbon and use the ruler to measure it. 2) Find a flat surface for the dog to stand on. For the little ones, a tabletop can save your back! 3) Get a piece of paper and pen. Prevents the necessity of the re-measuring when you forget the numbers. 4) A friend (preferably human!) - especially helpful if your dog is a wriggler, or to keep your little one from jumping the tabletop while you write down the measurements. Take each measurement a bit loosely, so there will be room for your dog to move and breathe, but not too loose. Write down each measurement, and then measure a second time just to be sure. *All the clothes in our store are all measured by our own hands (including all the size and color), so there may be 1-2 cm deviation. *If any of the measurements are 'between' two sizes, choose the larger size.
