I bought this to add some ambient lighting to the back of my office desk, as I prefer to work with the main light off and have more subdued lighting instead.Based on other reviews here (thanks) which mentioned that the light strip gives off a solid warm yellow light, rather than in spots like other strips I have tried I decided to try this.My desk is 2 metres in length, so the 2m version of this was exactly the right size.Installation was relatively simple, you peel off the backing to reveal the adhesive and simply stick it to the location required.I placed the USB near a powered USB strip I have, which provides enough amps/volts for it to work without flickering.The photos try and give a good representation of the strips effect, the first photo is on lowest power, the second is on highest.I typically leave it on the lowest power as it is directly against the wall, but I can see this working well against TVs etc.In 3 weeks I have had no issues with the light strip, the adhesive has remained stuck to the desk, and the lights have worked each time I have used them, which can be for hours a day usually.I'm thinking about buying this again just to add to other places in the home, eg under the bed.

These strips are so good for the money. No hot spots and really nice. Perfect for my project. The only problem I have is the app does not seem to work no matter what I try. Aside from that, I highly recommend them and will be getting more.

Feels very durable with very good adhesion to my iMac 24 M1, included dimmer easy to operate providing its solidly mounted. Cables a reasonable length and nicely soldered, ( usb extenders are cheap as chips ). Light quality good and very uniform along the entire length of the strip, can only just see the LEDS at lowest setting. Nothing much to dislike at the price point except maybe corners get very creased even at large radiuses. Could not get the ends into the PAUTIX 8mm corner connectors, even without the adhesive tape attached. Don't seem tall enough, they jam on the diffuser layer and crumple, gave up eventually.

Just finished installing these lights - really impressed with the brightness and colour. Adhesive backing easily stuck to our desk, so far soo good. Bought these lights to help with reducing screen glare and eye stain from monitors.It did flicker when plugged into the usb socket of our extension power bank/gang which is inconvenient but works fine with a Apple usb plug. From reading other reviews this seems to be a ongoing issue. We bought a different product to this brand previously and it had a weird yellow colour and wasn’t as bright. And usb was massive but on the flip side it had a remote which was really handy. This brand only does remotes for lights 3m and up. But we have managed to place the switch for these lights in a confident place sooo actually it’s not the worst thing. Would just be a amazing bonus to have a remote to make it perfect.Other than that we really love these lights, The COB lighting really works better for darker parts of the room like behind a monitor but also gives off a soft glow without being too on your face. You can turn down the brightness if you want but in our case there’s not really any need for it. Really happy with my purchase*UPDATE - Lights have suddenly turned off, not sure why this has happened 4 days later, hence why the change from 5 to 3 stars. I've contacted the seller to ask - will update this as and when..**UPDATE - Got them working again, seemed to of tripped out two apple usb plugs. Not sure how or why. It’s currently plugged into a Samsung usb plug and it’s working fine for now, no word from the seller yet…**UPDATE - After speaking with the seller they kindly sent a replacement out free of charge. Works fine now!

Bought this to replace a folding lamp I was using for bias lighting behind my monitor. Firstly, it's much cheaper than a lamp and runs directly from the USB-A socket on the monitor. The strip uses 3M adhesive, so you know it's going to be good quality. Easy to cut to desired length at the marked out lines and the remote control is easy to use.

I was sent a left over 1m cut of led strip with no accompanying electronics. Clearly left over from one that had been cut in half. Avoid - just get a smart one which is only a little more expensive anyway

The media could not be loaded. Lights and colour wheel is good, remote is useless app is a bit buggy and the adhesive isn’t great. But got the job done

I purchased these as I had purchased one once before. I have found these LED COB strips to be well constructed and extremely durable. 2 meters being long enough to run from a 5v USB outlet of which can be brightened or dimmed to your liking via the inline controller.I have fitted one set in our food cupboard giving adequate lighting with scope to brighten if necessary.All in all, an extremely well made led light strip non waterproof, using cob technology at a great price.A name of which is growing constantly.5*s out of 5.

Unable to use as aggressively flickering and remote does nothing.
