Curly girl co-wash
I'm a curly girl and so I use this to wash and condition my hair.It has been fantastic so far and I live that I can look after my hair and the planet at the same time (sort of).The price is crazy for a conditioner however but the faith in nature range do a lot of work to give good quality, kind products so I'm willing to pay the price it is.

Overall disappointing - Doesn't soften my hair, smell is not particularly pleasant either
I have purchased Faith in Nature products before (mainly in refill/zero waste shops where you can pump them out of vats into containers you bring from home) and they have been fab so when the shops closed, I thought might as well try to order some online. The conditioner itself is fine for consistency, but the smell is not particularly citrusy or pleasant. It doesn't smell bad per se but not a great fragrance either, rather just like a generic product with some chemicals in it.Despite having dyed hair I do not use super specific products etc. and I have used non-branded and other conditioners before without issues so I am not too fussy when it comes to conditioners but this didn't feel like I used any conditioner at all after using it. I spent a long time trying to comb my hair afterwards and it was snagging a lot more than usual, so I cannot say it worked for me at all. Also tried this in the 'Blueberry' version and had the same issues, except the blueberry just smells very sweet, almost like sugar. I've used up the product as don't like to waste and will try to refill with other products again when my local zero waste shop reopens but won't be ordering these again.Last small point, related to the packaging - I understand it comes in a plastic bottle, but the bottle itself was sealed in another layer of plastic - I understand this is to prevent potential leakage in transit but for a company who is meant to be eco-friendly, vegan and all that forward this seemed a bit odd to me.

Smells lovely not for my hair type though
These all smell good however please read reviews before purchasing if you have curly hair, i have 3b and this particular one turned my hair into a puff ball!!! It was the only thing i changed in my haircare routine. I also have the lavender and geranium one and my hair turned out lovely. Obviously that was my particular experience and if you are familiar with CG you know that one size does not fit all.Smells lovely and totally natural so i use it to shave my legs.

Lovely versatile conditioner
I bought this on recommendation from a friend on the British Curlies website, and I am glad I did. I wasn't sure if it would smell nice due to the seaweed, and I am very big on nice smelling products. But the smell is actually quite nice, a faint hint of seaweed, mixed with essential oils such as lemon, give this a lovely and refreshing scent.I am following the curly girls (CG) method of looking after my hair, which means no sulfates (in most shampoos) or silicone in my products. This ticked both boxes, and also has lots of great nutrients too. I have been using it to cleanse my hair which it does a very good job of, and also as a leave in conditioner. It makes my hair feel soft and moisturised, with a nice shine to it.Will be buying this again, and trying other products from the range too.
