Has anyone used these vents for soffit or foundation vents?

I have not used these for soffit or foundation vents. I have them in my outdoor kitchen. It depends if you want the stainless steel look or painted vent look.

Can you tell me what size the mounting holes are?

I believe i used a #10 screw but you can drill it out to whatever you need.

What was the rough opening dimension used when installing this vent?
