ZAR 11512 Wood Stain, QT, Modern Walnut, 32 Fl Oz

This is listed as Modern Walnut. You recieve Aged Bourbon. Presumably Zar changed the product name? The packaging is totally different as is the color pictured, the stain color appears to be the same formulation. Should be listed as Modern walnut (renamed aged bourbon) if that is the case.

This stain is now called "Aged Bourbon". I bought this stain and received the aged bourbon thinking it was wrong. I got the amazon refund, but it turns out it was the right stain. I tried it out and it was correct.Been using this stain for years and love the color. My whole house has furniture and trim stained with this. Nothing negative to say about it. It's a stain. It does it's job.

Wasn't quite the color I had hoped, but it worked for what I was using it for. Was disappointed as it was packaged poorly and leaked in the bag it was wrapped in. Couldn't read anything on the can.

Omg, fumes, seriously? If you have ever used stain before you want this stuff. It blows away minwax, varathane and rustoleum. Coverage and penetration is better. Depth of color is night and day better for me. This stuff is not as watery. Works better on waxy or wood that isnt fully dry. My old man has always swore by zar and he was right. The local stores have switched to the cheap stuff, now i have to buy it here.

Good product at a good price. Product arrived poorly packaged though. Quart cans were packaged loose in box and all 3 quarts were damaged. Very well satisfied with the product itself though.

The stain was great! The supplier was incredible. Had a problem at first (my fault not theirs)and "Bargin The People" we're wonderful in handling the problem.

The VOC of this stuff is really bad and really toxic. Do not use this stuff indoors, and do use a respirator and eye protection. This stuff will make you sick or at least have a bad head ache. If I had known the VOC of this stuff was as toxic as it is, I would never had bought it.The table I used this stuff on still carries the smell of this stuff after weeks. I am now tempted to strip this stuff off and find another stain that does not have toxic fumes as this stuff. From my experience with this stuff, I give this warning: Do not use this stuff in a closed environment, and wear a respirator not a simple face mask, and wear goggles and rubber, latex, or something other glove where this stuff cannot get on your skin.
