Love this chair!
I purchased this chair for my husband to go into our new sun room. We had matching black rocking chairs but he wanted a recliner. I was afraid that a traditional recliner would overwhelm the whole space and defeat the purpose of our quiet little sunroom. This chair was perfect! This chair fits his body and his size, he is 5'9" and weighs about 190. The chair looks very elegant and masculine so it fit the bill for both of us. I was able to put it together all by myself so I could surprise him. I would recommend buying this chair.

UNCOMFORTABLE!! This chair is horribly uncomfortable. (are the other reviews paid??) The seat is stiff and unpleasant, and then you have the short back, which, when combined with the angle of recline, means that your head has to be held up by neck muscles in the most uncomfortable way possible. Then, as an added touch, the leg support edge digs into the back of your ankle. This chair is a torture device. The only thing positive I can say is that I will probably sit a whole lot less. So disappointed!! :-((

I like this chair
I like this chair. It's good for watching tv and taking naps. I am 5'5 and the back is almost too short for my head. It may not work for much taller person.

comfortable and strong!
This is realy a great chair I got for my bedroom. It is comfortable and has a strong foundation. When it first arrived I thought I had to call someone to come and assemble it for me but it was so easy I did not have to do that so I did it myself in 5 minutes.

I was dubious about this purchase. However, this was an excellent chair at an excellent price. A family member visiting us queried us about the chair origins as he was looking for something for his upscale office space. He couldn't believe the price and the quality. I highly recommend it!
