The **analog timer** was a bit frustrating at first, since it doesn’t allow setting times below five minutes. Plus, once you set the timer, you can’t stop it midway—you’ll have to switch off the power supply if you want to stop the air fryer. The timer only moves clockwise manually, and it reduces time counterclockwise automatically, so you can't manually adjust it once it's started.Another minor issue I’ve encountered is that the **knobs can get a bit slippery** while cooking. But I found a simple fix—a **rubber band on the knob** adds enough grip to make adjustments much easier, so it's not a big deal.Despite these small quirks, I’ve come to realize that this air fryer offers **great value for the price**. The **6.5-liter capacity** is perfect for large portions, and the **1700W power** ensures even and quick cooking, whether I’m frying, grilling, roasting, or baking. The **removable basket** is easy to clean, which is a big plus for daily use.While I initially thought I’d prefer a digital interface, the price and capacity make up for the analog controls. Bought this after seeing positive reviews on YT, and I'm satisfied with the purchase.We've been using it for the 4 days, for making variety of stuff from cookies to papads to vegetables (brinjal and arbi, in the pic). Mostly happy with the output.Pros:- Large 6.5l airfryer, so you can easily cook for 4-5 people.- Time taken is on par with other smaller air fryers, despite large basket.Cons:- Precise setting of time/temp can be a pain.- There's no way to reduce the time if you set it to a higher number; so, be careful while setting the timer.There's a strong odour of heated plastic (or something artificial), while cooking, even after 4 days though this doesn't seem to transfer to the food. This seems to be a complaint with many air fryers, and the claim is that it will reduce/stop after a while. Hope it does.The recipe book and instruction booklet have very minimal info - turn to YT for good recipes, and you are all set. The recipe book contains recipes copied from recipe book of another brand (Innsky), without even changing the brand name :P Throughout the book, you will find the instructions asking you to turn on "Innsky Air fryer"!But, overall, a good buy at this price; there was an offer at that time, which brought down the price to 5,399 when I bought.Edit: Tried making masal vadai and potato fry. Both came out really well. Photos added.

I was looking for a airfryer, i know I was a little late to join this bandwagon....i tried a couple of airfryer before American Micronic, but came out disappointed.Read some good reviews about it and decided to give it a try, and wow was I surprised, the earlier air fryers that are used would take double the amount of time to cook properly, but I was amazed to see that with this air fryer I was able to cook within the stipulated time and even 30-40% lesser time.For me that is the essence of cooking, while this might not look very fancy, but it is a perfect practical buy... Go ahead if you are looking for a medium sized air fryer, you won't be disappointed.I'll be posting reviews in the future also as to how it holds in the long run, for now it is a perfect buy !
