ADDENDUM went back to spec page on amazon via past orders and description says nothing about spring loaded frame/temple attachment. ? Was is changed or did I miss read first time. The company responded and made things right. Have to give them the benefit of the doubt and changed from 3 to 5 stars.I don’t wear my corrective lens to beach, in case my stuff walks away while I’m swimming. So I need an ‘expendable’ pair that won’t cost an arm and leg if I have to replace. These look good, like the selection. I found that they DO NOT Have the spring loaded Temple to front lens connection as advertised. Not a deal breaker. Only worn once so no comment yet on scratch resistance

I've had these for a couple of months now, and wanted to hold my review until I've worn them around and used them.I really am impressed with the customer service and the quality of the glasses. I've got 3 pairs. (2 pair in one purchase; and my free pair). All three are different frames. The wire frames are not heavy and so far, they don't appear to break easily. I've dropped them a number of times (clumsy) and their still holding strong!The 3rd pair, I use for outdoors: hiking, biking, camping etc. I keep them stored in their bag for convenience and even the cloth sent with them is not a thin cloth that will scratch them when you clean them. Overall...so far so good! Buy them! and enjoy!

I found these specific frames but in a different color lens on a Wirecutter recommendation and they were not wrong! For under $20, these sunglasses are absolutely perfect! They fit very well and comfortably, the arms are metal bands instead of plastic, they offer great over, under, and peripheral vision/eye coverage, and the polarized lens are spot on. The frames are also a durable plastic throughout, including the nose piece which is also solid plastic instead of the metal arm nose pieces, an added bonus for sure. The Sakura pink lens color look even better in person than they do in the item listing and stand out a lot with the dark frames. I’ve used these sunglasses every day since they arrived a week ago and I have not been disappointed. Outside of normal dust and debris dirtying up the glasses, they are very easy to clean and extremely durable overall. They also come with a nice sized cleaning cloth and a keychain glasses screwdriver to adjust the arms at any time. I would highly recommend these sunglasses to anyone. I will definitely be buying more of these.

I'm starting out with 4 stars in hopes these will earn 5 stars after a month or two of continual use. They are too new to asses how scratch-resistant they are (or aren't) and I'm not going to intentionally abuse these to find-out so early. What I CAN say is that they arrived safely, were packaged nicely (good presentation!) and they are a delight to wear. I've had MauiJim's, Vuarnet's, RayBan's and other good sunglasses over the years, and these lenses are up there with the others as far as clarity, no distortion, UV filtering and so on. They are also lightweight to wear. The frames seem solid. I did apply for the second, free set which I hope to have soon for an alternate/backup pair. These Sungait glasses seem to be the real deal, at a bargain price. I will update this initial review in about 60-90 days to see how they fare. If all remains the same, I will boost the rating to 5 stars.

I recently discovered Sungait sunglasses on Amazon (thank you, Wirecutter). I'm a person who has historically thought that you need to pay between $100-$200 for good sunglasses--that offer high UV protection, polarized lenses and even high definition (HD) vision--which I didn't even know was a thing but I think it makes a big difference! I love these high quality yet incredibly reasonably priced sunglasses. They are so inexpensive I now feel that I can own a drawer full of sunglasses and use them as fashion accessories. They are scratch resistant and clean up easily. I love all the 'fashion forward' styles. Have 3 pair now and will be buying more. My husband also just got on the bandwagon and has 7 pairs coming his way before we leave on an Alaskan cruise. Also, easy to try on 'virtually' to see how they look on your face. Appreciate the detailed measurements so you can compare sizes of a current pair to others you are considering.
