I saw this on a parenting blog about picky eaters and I thought just maybe, maybe it would be the thing to finally crack my stubborn child and make him actually eat a real meal I cooked. The tray came and I eagerly filled the little compartments, called for my son and told him I had a special dinner game for him. He came down the stairs, looked at the tray and said, "I'm not hungry." I responded by showing him the peanut butter cup in the home run section. He still wasn't hungry. Dinner was a fit of tears and my dog eating my son's food on the sly. Nothing wrong with the product though, came as described, very nice quality, just only works on children who need food to survive, not souls.

My 6 yr old has always been a super picky eater. I decided to try this plate to see if I could motivate him to try even a few small bites of new foods. I told him he would earn points for every bite that he took, with different "bases" earning a different level of points. If he earned a certain number of points by the end of the meal he could uncover the MVP home plate, which either contained a treat or a token to trade for a small reward. It worked!! The only reason it got 4 stars is I wish the holes were a little larger to fit a greater variety of foods.

The concept of this plate is great, but the execution is poor. The slots provided for the food are way too small for the kids to work with. And, because they are so shallow, you'll j vet be able to had wash/rinse them without water getting everywhere. It just shoots right back out. This is a novelty item at best. We use other plates more often until we have food that will fit in the three areas provided on this plate. When we do use it, our son loves it as he is focused on getting a home run! Probably better options out there...

I bought this plate based on a recommendation for my picky eaters. It has made meal time more fun and less stressful. My 5 year old loves the surprise treat hidden under home plate. The portion sizes are perfect and love the extra compartments for the dipping sauces. I would recommend this to all picky and non picky eaters! Its a home run in our house!

These were Christmas gifts for my nephews. They are big fans of baseball, not big fans of eating. They loved these plates! Such a fun way to motivate picky eaters. And the home run portion has a cover to keep the reward a surprise.

My daughter is a picky eater. This plate is like magic. She wants the "mystery treat" and happily eats her dinner.Very fun and creative way to help your toddler not eat just that "1" thing they want every single day!

I wish I would have known about these 6 years ago. A friend had them so I bought 2 to try. Works like a charm.

Great plate. Fun theme. My son loved the baseball theme and the hidden area for a treat/surprise/ reward for trying new foods.
