Q: Are these socks made in China?

I do not know where they are made. They were comfortable & easily went over my bandaged foot & stayed up fairly well.

Q: Are there extra wide shorter than knee length socks for a short personcompression

There was no compression in these at all.

Q: It says stretches up to 30" at the calf. Is this 30cm?? If yes, would it fit a calf that is 39cm?

It does stretch to 30 inches, so since cm are smaller than inches it will stretch to 30 cm. I have no idea about 39 cm.

I would buy and try , I really can't say, but I love these socks ! You can always return them. I bought because I'm disabled and my foot and calfs are swollen. They fit great and feel great. Try them..couldn't hurt.
